Soulwinning Conference This Sinulog in Bible Baptist Church!
The LORD always has His way of fighting the Devil. People are saying that the Sto. Nino is Jesus but friends HE IS NOT JESUS, he is an imposter child god made of stone. Isaiah 42:8 says, "I am the LORD that is My Name neither will I give My glory to another NEITHER MY PRAISE TO GRAVEN IMAGES." The Catholic Bible says in the Good News version, "I alone Am the LORD your God. No other god may share My glory; I will not let idols share my praise." In fact Exodus 20:4-5 in the Catholic Bible says, "Do not make for yourselves IMAGES of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it because I am the LORD your God and I will tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants down to the third and the fourth generation." So in short, that's why the second commandment as STRUCK OUT and the tenth split into two. Amazes me really, verses against the use of images are in the Catholic Bible yet Roman Catholics don't even bother to examine it further. Why? They're too struck with manmade traditions (Mark 7:9, 13). Also Mark 7:13 in th Catholic Bible says, "In this way the teaching you pass on to others CANCELS OUT THE WORD OF GOD. And there are many other things like this that you do." Is it the TEN COMMANDMENTS or the 9.5 Commandments? You don't get TEN by getting rid of one whole commandment and making the tenth half and half!!!! Like I have nine apples, if I split the ninth do I get ten? NO!
So moving on to the soulwinning conference.
A friend of mine and a pastor, Dr. Mike Wells together with Dr. Keith Piper, both Baptist preachers will be on that soulwinning conference DURING Sinulog. It's a pity really for people who live far because the roads will be blocked by the worshipers of the child god that needs to be carried because it cannot walk that has to be carried by the dancers because it cannot dance. As usual, they will say they are not worshiping the image but the one portrayed but that's poor excuse. That's what the pagans always say. But God is too clear that He will NEVER give His praise to graven images, therefore no praise to graven images is ever a praise from God.
Jeremiah 10:5 in the Catholic Bible says, "Such idols are like scarecrows in a field of melons; they cannot speak; they have to be carried because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them they can cause you no harm and they can do you no good." Seriously will the true Church that Jesus ordained Peter as the pastor DO SUCH abominations? Certainly not. Keeping true to Apostolic practices, Bible Baptist Church-Cebu is doing the tradition of soulwinning conferences. They have the traditions of man, as a Christian I have the Word of God in my tradition as 2 Thessalonians 2:15 says, "Therefore brethren stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught WHETHER BY OUR WORD OR OUR EPISTLE." and 3 Thessalonians 3:6 says, "Now we command you brethren in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly and NOT AFTER THE TRADITION WHICH HE RECEIVED OF US." While Roman Catholics misquote those verses to justify their anti-Sola Scriptura, those verses further show that only Scriptures are the authoritative form for Church tradition and NOT from councils or Popes or priests which Martin Luther rejected because they CONTRADICTED EACH OTHER!
Excited? Yes. In fact it's because Matthew 24:14 says, "And the Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached as a witness unto ALL NATIONS and then shall the end come." That's how important soulwinning is because it really brings us closer to the day of the Lord. God bless you all.
