Despite Matthew 23:14 Being Absent From the Good News Translation, The Pretense of Long Prayers is Still Condemned in The Same Translation!

An interesting note is that Matthew 23:14 is being removed from the Good News Translation as well as many other modern translations YET quite interesting that these two verses still remain to condemn long prayers of the Pharisees. These prayers today also exist in the form of the Roman Catholic version of the Rosary as well as other vain, long prayers uttered for the show by the Roman Catholic priests:
Mark 12:40 (Good News Translation)- "They take advantage of widows and rob them of their homes and then make a show of saying long prayers. Their punishment will be all worse."
Luke 20:47 (Good News Translation)- "Who take advantage of widows and rob them of their homes, and then make a show by saying long prayers! Their punishment will be all the worse."

Quite interesting that based on historical facts, even the Latin Vulgate Bible wasn't allowed to be read by the public during the Dark Ages. After all, Martin Luther launched the Reformation with a Roman Catholic Bible in his hand!
