Parental Lying: Why It's Not Good

There is the great problem of double standard and having grown up in a non-Christian home wasn't easy. Having been lied to about Santa Claus, asking my parents for affirmation and having one lie after the other to "assure" me that Santa Claus exists, had damaged my trust. It didn't help to have other lying elders too, which is a huge problem. What I have noticed is that growing up, the typical parenting is, "It's okay to lie to our kids but not for them to lie to us." What most parents don't realize is that they are taking advice from stupid people like Dr. Spock's bad parenting. Children take whatever their parents say seriously. For them, their parents are the only source of truth they know which Satan knows for sure. If a child is to learn discipline, he has to learn it from the truth and no "white lie" can ever cover it. For a Santa Claus lying parent, for them, "Oh it's just a white lie... it was just a fantasy

Declaring War Against Easy Prayerism

Today one of the most common tactics and deception is not only a seeker-friendly message but also the doctrine of easy prayerism.  People can always say they received Jesus Christ into their hearts but have they really done so?  There's the problem of, "Well I can pray the sinner's prayer then I can go out there and sin all I want... and still be saved."  That is a crooked doctrine because Christians are not saved in their sins, they are saved FROM their sins.  That is why I am declaring war on the heresy of easy prayerism.  Today what is sending more people to a false conversion is easy prayerism.  Today we have church buildings that are social halls instead of places for sinners to be converted.  A church is a hospital for sinners, not a haven for sinners.  Pastors who refuse to tell people of their sins are like doctors who refuse to tell patients of their sickness. The Scripture always demands repentance as part of saving faith.  Matthew 21:32 warns abou

Conspiracy Theories Can Disrupt Christian Missions!

Conspiracy theories are a serious threat to Christian missions.  When Jesus commissioned the Apostles, He did not say, "Go therefore and search for conspiracy theories." but instead He said, "Go ye therefore and preach the Gospel to every creature."  Which is, Christians are called to preach the Gospel, not engage in the dabble of conspiracy theories.  The focus of Christianity is preaching the Gospel.  The focus is to make people know they are sinners that they may repent and believe the Gospel.  It's to call people to repent, not to dwell in conspiracy theories. For one, it's very easy to get distracted with conspiracy theories.  There is a difference between a conspiracy fact vs. a conspiracy theory.  A conspiracy theory is nothing but endless speculations.  On the other hand, a conspiracy fact is something that has already been exposed.  The problem with conspiracy theory programs is that most of them are unproven myths.  They are vain imaginatio

Felix Manalo is NOT the Good Shepherd

As the Iglesia ni Manalo celebrate their 100 years tomorrow, I would like to write this daring open letter to them. I know many will hate me for this but I love people enough to tell them the truth plain and simple from the Bible. The INC doctrine also says John 10:16 is proof of their existence, that the flock is the INC and that the Good Sheperd is Felix Manalo? Obviously the INC has always bee known for taking Scriptures out of context as much as the Roman Catholic institution. Now to examine the context of John 10:16... making Felix Manalo an antichrist. The keyword is always CONTEXT. John 10:16 when taken in full refers to the very words of Jesus, not Felix Manalo. It was not Felix Manalo who told Peter that upon the Rock, he will build the Church. It was not Felix Manalo who came to seek and save the lost. It was not Felix Manalo who recruited the twelve disciples. In short, it was NOT Felix Manalo who did what Jesus did! It makes me think he really had some nerve (and

Being Pro-Birth is NOT Being Pro-Life!

I am practically disturbed to how people think that it's a sin to have natural birth control as much as artificial birth control.  As much as abortion is wrong, then so is pro-birth.  If abortion is not pro-life since there is nothing pro-life about killing an unborn infant, nothing is pro-life either when one tries to have many children when one cannot afford to support them all.  Although Joan Chittister is an unsaved Roman Catholic, I would agree 100% with her when it came to her statement that if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, a child educated, a child raised properly then it's not pro-life, it's pro-birth. What verses do pro-birth people misuse?  They misuse Genesis 1:28 when God told Adam and Eve to go forth and multiply.  They also misuse Psalm 127:3-4 to justify their stand for pro-birth stand.  They condemn couples who choose to limit their number of children which is just plain wrong.  If any couple is to be condemned I would go for t

Pope Francis I and Pushing "Unity"

Image
To the world, this is a good kind of unity but this is unity in error, not unity in the truth. The Vatican proves itself to be apostate when it actually has embraced various world religions (as much as Catholic faith defenders HATE to admit it). I do think this is a sign of the times. Pope Francis compared to the Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI looks meek as a lamb, speaks like a lamb but speaks with real authority. Knowing that he came from the Jesuit Order as a lower Jesuit (whose only responsibility is that of a common priest rather than the elite Jesuit), he is still nonetheless an effective puppet in the hands of the "Black Pope", Adolfo Nicholas. The so-called peace talks of Israel and Palestine are all needed for the New World Order. Whoever says futurism is just a "Jesuit Heresy" NEEDS to reexamine the news events. Projects for a new Temple in Jerusalem are coming. However please do note that Pope Francis I is NOT the False Prophet. He is certainly a forerun

My Answer to the Atheist's View of Understanding Why God Told Abraham to Offer Isaac

For the atheist the story is sick and prove that God is not loving for asking Abraham to offer Isaac.  One of them may say, "I hate to think God would glory in the fact that Abraham was willing to offer Isaac." but that is not the whole story.  What they fail to do is to take the story in context.  They may hate to deny it but they may have acknowledged Sarah got pregnant by supernatural means, since scientifically she is already past her prime and she knew it.  Going back to Isaac, remember he was called the "only son" or better interpreted as "only son of promise". We take a look God commands us not to love our relatives more than Him.  Certainly we are commanded to honor our parents and provide for our children BUT we are also commanded to love God.  That is, if parents tell the children to do something wrong, the child must politely disobey and accept punishment due as a Christian who suffers for righteousness' sake.  If the child wants t

The Church DID NOT and DOES NOT Apostasize!

Crooked so-called "last messengers" have claimed, "The Church has apostasized and we have come to save it from apostasy!" then they misquote several verses. Since the INC is having its 100th anniversary to which they are centuries late, the Church founded by Jesus Christ has been around much longer than the doctrine of Felix Manalo. But looking at the Bible which they so misquote, can the Church apostasize? The answer is no and I would like to discuss why the Church DOES NOT apostasize! This also goes for Mormons, Watchtower members and other cults whose founders claim the Church apostasized and that they came to restore it! Remembering the words of Jesus in Matthew 16:18 to Peter, "That thou art Peter and upon this Rock I will build my Church and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." As said, the Rock is Jesus Christ. Peter was the first pastor, Jesus told him that upon that Rock, the Church will be built. Even the Catholic translatio
