Soulwinning Is Never Complete Without Outreach and Relief Projects In Disaster Areas

I do appreciate the concern people had with the people in Nepal, I mean I would assume a good portion of the population that died in the earthquake went to Hell.  Now, preaching the Gospel is necessary but it's never complete without the necessary outreach towards people who really need help.

It brings back what James 2:14-18 which say, "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works?  Can faith save him?  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."

In short, it's very useless to be preaching the Gospel without any good works, because true faith will always result to good works.  While faith is not works, but works is definitely the result of faith.  I really dare to question anybody who says, "I am a Christian." and yet such a person is indifferent towards good works, saying Romans 4:5 to justify their indifference without knowing that true faith results to good works.  While the conditional security crowd accuses me of teaching Antinomianism, Antinomians say that I am teaching works salvation because I emphasize on a performance evaluation for Christian growth, to see whether or not a person is truly in the faith or such a person has been a false convert.  If unsaved heathen missionaries would be willing to put an extra effort in feeding projects and relief in disaster areas, it would be stupid to claim you are truly Christian and not believe in doing outreach and relief projects in disaster areas aside from preaching the Gospel.

If you try to look at the work of the Apostles, you will see how they have also done good works in their outreach because while salvation is not by good works, it's absurd to think of a salvation that never results to good works.  Jesus Himself did not only preach but He also healed those in need of healing.  While today's apostolic ministry no longer has the gifts of the Apostles, it still has the ministry of preaching.  At the same time, we ought to remember that Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."  While Christians should not use their good works for bragging, however they must also do good works for the glory of God.  That is, what Jesus condemned was not putting good works in public but to use them for show business.
