The Favorite Weapon of Catholic Faith Defenders: Pastors Who Have Fallen into Sin!
One of the worst double-standards that Catholic faith defenders have is by saying, "But Evangelical pastors fall into sin." I dare to acknowledge that, I dare rebuke them and I would like to tell the huge differences. There is always the need to study current events, research the background of these pastors and the Roman Catholic doctrine.
I do acknowledge there are cuckoo pastors but they are not born again Christians. No true born again Christian would ever be so crazy as to teach absurd doctrine. When it comes to Catholic faith defenders, I have noticed how defensive most of them are when it comes to their priests committing sin. While I do applaud some of them who are honest enough to admit it was certainly done by a Roman Catholic priest, I've observed many who are willing to really go defensive about their priests saying that whoever made the reports was allegedly possessed by Satan or used by Satan. This is all done to protect the "image" of the "Holy Roman Catholic Church" and to further demonize the born again Christians.
From the "Truth Encounter" by Dr. Anthony Pezzotta he writes on page 170 of the same book:
When I started reading the history of the Vatican, even some Roman Catholic publications have admitted the monstrous behavior of some of its Popes to the point they are called anti-Popes. I started reading some of the history of the Reformation, I started to look at how unholy the Vatican is and so much for saying, "We'll see how holy your pastor is." They have swept a lot of their dirty secrets under the rug. They have tried to keep their "holy men" appearing holy when they are vile as ever.
What is needed to be said is that plenty of pastors who Catholic faith defenders vilify a lot are also openly working for the Vatican. The moment I stared doing research on names like Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart, I found out that these men were working for the Vatican. When I did some research on Joel Osteen, I find his books selling like hot cakes in Roman Catholic bookstores. A lot of these money-hungry pastors are actually working for the Vatican.
