Traffic and Chaos All For a False God Who Cannot Walk By Itself

Whenever it is time for any idolatrous procession or feast, there is the expectation of both chaos and traffic.  Roads will be rerouted, traffic enforcers will be everywhere and many people will flock on that day for that idol. What is really disturbing is how many times these incidents happen yet people never learn.  There is always the chance of injury or somebody dying without Christ. I pray that those injured people will wake up before it is too late for them. Many people still refuse to accept the message of repentance because they love their sin. Many Roman Catholics even refuse to leave their religion because they are so used to their sinning from Monday to Friday, confession on Saturday, go to Mass on Sunday then the cycle starts all over again lifestyle.

Jeremiah 10:3-5, Good News Translation (for Roman Catholics):
The religion of these people is worthless.  A tree is cut down in the forest; it is carved by the tools of the woodworker and decorated with silver and gold.  It is fastened down with nails to keep it from falling over.  Such idols are like scarecrows in a field of melons; they cannot speak; they have to be carried because they cannot walk.  Do not be afraid of them: they can cause you no harm, and they can do you no good.

The Good News Translation in spite of missing verses as opposed to the King James Version still speaks out how foolish the activities are. No matter how much they say that they are not worshiping the image but the one portrayed, actions speak louder than words. The fact that their god or saint cannot walk means it must be carried, traffic enforcers must be there to make sure that it does not get run over or it does not fall down. If you wanted to know what caused the traffic, it was because of a god who cannot walk and has to be carried around.
