Refuting the Ridiculous Claim That Sola Scriptura Condones to Certain Evils in Society

Official Roman Catholic doctrine doesn't teach that Sola Scriptura supposedly condones to certain evils. What should be very amazingly blasphemous is that a self-proclaimed Roman Catholic apologist (who will be referred to as "Alaska Boy" as not to get openly personal with that guy) has gone as far as to say that Sola Scriptura condones to certain evils. When asked what evils these are he mentions are death penalty and slavery. The problem with that this guy who I call "Alaska Boy" is that he's got a poor understanding of these two areas. Let's take a look at what the Bible says about death penalty and slavery. Let's take a Scriptural view at both areas to refute Alaska Boy's claims. I waited for a long time to write this entry. Hopefully this will convict him of his heresies before it's too late. The death penalty is supported by Scriptures Whether he likes it or not the Bible actually calls for death penalty. It was God who spoke t

Starbucks CEO Howard Schlutz Needs to Repent!

Here's what Washington Post has to say about Starbucks' CEO has with his latest stand on traditional marriage supporters: SEATTLE – During the Starbucks annual shareholders meeting, CEO Howard Schultz had a clear message to send to investors who don’t support gay marriage: he doesn’t want your business.  It’s one thing to stick to one’s beliefs, but it’s another thing to allow those beliefs to cross the line and become zealotry. It appears Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz crossed that line during the meeting, mixing his belief system with business.  Schultz went on to claim that Starbucks strives to “embrace diversity of all kinds.” He went on to tell a shareholder who stands behind tradition marriage to sell his shares and invest elsewhere .  Forbes reported that Schultz seemed hostile and intolerant of any shareholders who objected to gay marriage for moral or religious reasons.  During the meeting, shareholder Tom Strobhar (who founded the Corporate Morality Action Ce

Political Correctness Also Causes Legitimate Families to Run Out of Control

Image
It's just so stupid how people say that they don't need God but cry where was God when something bad happens. A lot of American youths today have gone haywire ever since the Bible was banned in public schools in the United States. It's really time to think about not just what happened but why did it happen. Why is it that today children are ruling over their parents but in the yesteryears we have a lot of disciplined boys and girls? People today just want to be politically correct than Biblically correct. Many people today can't tell the difference between discipline and abuse. Fallen humanity always had a natural inclination in their fallen state to hate God-given rules. The fall of man happened because Adam and Eve refused to follow the simple rule of not eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. With all the call for political correctness a lot of stuff today are now considered tyrannical and unjust such as the Ten Commandments or God-given rule

There's No Room For ANY Foul Language in Christianity!

Image
Let's face it that the Christian life isn't easy. There's going to be ridicule. There's going to be put downs. What's so often forgotten by Christians is that they should worry more if they're not persecuted for the wrong reasons than if they got persecuted for the right reasons. They should worry more if the world suddenly embraces them too much. While Christians aren't called to be as offensive as possible but if their good works don't offend the world then something is downright wrong. It's very easy to get mad when you keep doing good but all people do is to return it in hatred. It's very easy to use foul language of any sort because of that. It's a problem to criticize some Roman Catholic apologists for their lack of professionalism when you've got some Christians apologists doing more or less the same kind of lack of professionalism. It can be shameful when you've got a Roman Catholic apologist who uses biblical methods to

Worldly People Think Becoming a Born Again Christian is an "Unpardonable Sin"

Image
It's typical for the world to keep forgiving the thousand or million or billion trespasses but hate the Christian. I'm reminded of how Saul himself was a bloodthirsty murderer but he was so well-accepted. But when Saul became Paul everything turned upside down. Reading Paul's Christian life proved that becoming a Christian means to get right with God but to get wrong with the world. Friendship with the world is enmity with God. Friendship with God is enmity with the world. Remember these words by Jesus Himself: John 15:18-19  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Becoming a Christian means you're at odds with the world. I remembered reading "Hard to Believe" by John F. MacArthur and he mentions that you can't be faithful with God and popular with the worl

Both Roman Catholic Priestly Pedophila and Abortion Are Moral Scandals Against the Right to Life!

Image
It should be very sickening for just anyone to hear something like that priestly pedophila isn't as bad as abortion. It's almost like saying that rape is less offensive than murder. These are crimes that violate the standard of life for life. I'm sickened by how hypocritical the Vatican can get. You can be anti-abortion but not pro-life in these situations: You're condemning killing out of self-defense and death penalty for criminals as "inhumane" while fighting for the criminals' right to free lodging for life in high class prison cells. You think it's okay to breed irresponsibly never mind that children need to have proper support and proper upbringing. The problem of defending priestly pedophilia as being a "lesser crime" to abortion is that the former still violates the right to life. Did you know that the Bible also condemns rape as something that was punishable by stoning as much as offering children to the flames of Moloch?

It's Foolish to Believe That You Can Do God's Work Without His Amazing Grace!

Image
It's foolish for anybody to believe that they're saved and God leaves them on their own. Remember that the Church is a hospital for repentant sinners and a museum of righteous saints at the same time. As much as Christians are made into righteous saints but they're still growing as righteous saints. They're still sinners but not dirty rotten sinners but repentant sinners who are growing in holiness. To think that you can serve God in your sinful flesh without His grace is absolutely stupid. It's not that He saves the sinner and leaves them. On the contrary, He walks with the sinner that was redeemed and sanctified to make them do as He pleases. Here's what the Bible says about God's purpose of salvation and the Christian life: Ephesians 2:8-10  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which

The Jesus of "Easy Christianity" is ANOTHER JESUS!

Image
Here's a picture of the liberal false Christ which isn't the Jesus of the Bible. I want to imagine the Jesus of easy Christianity to be what the picture says about him. This non-existent Jesus doesn't have the actual teachings of the Bible. He saves but never sanctifies. He doesn't judge anyone. This is the kind of Jesus that "Easy Christianity" presents to the world. I'm afraid that this is one of the many reasons why people are heading to Hell by the multitudes. When people tell me I need to be more Christlike they're simply wanting me to be more like their own distorted view of Jesus and not the Jesus of the Bible. 2 Corinthians 11:4 warns about preaching another Jesus. How does easy Christianity make a twisted portrait of Christ away from the Christ of the Bible? They may deny it but by teaching that you can be saved without necessarily resulting to any kind of sanctification is totally against the holy character of God. They want to make the e

John F. MacArthur's Latest Book "None Other: Discovering the God of the Bible"

Image
It can't be denied that Pastor John F. MacArthur is not getting any younger but he's still laboring in diligent exposition of the Scriptures. Here's what he has to say about the current situation in the Laodicean church: You know when you look at the present-day church, I would say to start with the problems that exist in the church, and there are many, start with an inadequate understanding of God. We have a superficial, shallow, truncated, popularized, sort of personalized understanding of God. This is a massive problem. Because we don’t know the truth about God, we really don’t know the truth about anything else in its fullness and its richness.  The infantility, I guess you could say, of the church, the immaturity of the church, the superficiality of the church, the cheesiness of the church, the cheapness of the church, the shallowness of preaching is related to an inadequate understanding of the greatness and the glory of God. He's right in addressing these

The Church Is a Hospital for REPENTANT Sinners and NOT a Haven for Unrepentant Sinners

Image
There's a saying that the Church is not a museum of saints but a hospital for sinners. The idea that the Church is not a museum of saints can be very misleading because it's both a museum of saints and a hospital for sinners. If it wasn't a museum of saints or forgiven sinners then this verse would be a lie: 1 Corinthians 6:11  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Did you read that verse or did you just ignore it? Paul's letter to the Corinthians mentions that once they were vile sinners but now they're forgiven they're now saints. Every saint is a forgiven sinner. Once they were unrighteous but now they're given righteousness. They are given a new life. They are sanctified. The idea of a salvation that doesn't result to sanctification as much as a lie from the pits of Hell as the idea that sanctification precedes salvation. The ve
