Some Examples of False Dilemma Arguments Against the Bible

In the defense of the Christian faith, there will always be bound to have false dilemma arguments which is to restrict to the person to two or just a few alternatives when there are more. I would like to give some I have passed through:

1.) From Roman Catholics (most frequent) asking for exact verses like:
  • It's sinful to pray to Mary
  • Peter not being the first Pope
  • Priestly celibacy is the doctrine of devils
  • "Mary" of the apparition is a deception
  • We should not be praying to saints
  • The Roman Catholic Church is the whore of Revelation
  • There is no Purgatory
This means that they demand an exact verse because you can NEVER find a verse like 1 Timothy 4:2 saying, "Catholic priests forbidding to marry..." instead it was spelled out as simply "forbidding to marry..." which to them, makes a different story.

Note: The Jesuits are an expert in using the false dilemma argument to depower Christian apologists resulting to many of their "victories" and causing them to claim powerful books like Alberto have been debunked.

2.) From an evolutionist asking for a verse that says man didn't evolve and that evolution is just a fairy tale.

3.) A Mormon would ask, "Show me a verse in the Bible that calls Joseph Smith a false prophet."

4.) A Buddhist would ask, "Show me a verse that says there is no reincarnation."

5.) An atheist would ask, "Show me a verse that says atheists are fools."

What is written above is just a few of the MANY false dilemma arguments. That is, they actually would forbid the Baptist Christian apologist from actually explaining the truth through restrictions. That is absolutely CHEATING. 2 Peter 3:3 says that there will be scoffers in the last days.
