If Good Works Were Required to Enter Heaven Then... CHRIST DIED FOR NOTHING!

Galatians 2:21 says, "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the Law, then Christ is dead in vain."  That would make God a dictator if He is the type Who requires men to work for their salvation and it fits in to the category of requiring works to be saved or to stay saved- either which side is practically still self-righteousness.  It's all about adding works to faith in Christ.

Romans 11:6 is however clear saying, "And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." All that works salvation heresy would amount to Christ being DEAD FOR NOTHING!  These works salvation heretics can teach it either way but they trample on the Blood of Jesus by declaring it insufficient in the process (Hebrews 10:29).

Why?  After all, Jesus Christ did pay for ALL sins whether past or present when it comes to the salvation of the soul.  Of course, eternal security is NOT a license to sin either because even if God will not cast out His disobedient children (John 6:37), He will still let them face the OTHER consequences of sin as His way of chastising them (Hebrews 12:5-6) which of course can fit in to this- salvation is by faith and not by works but God still wants His children to do good works because He doesn't want them to sin, so He will still chastise them even if He will not cast them into Hell for just falling down.  David didn't lose his salvation when he had adultery with Bathsheba, he lost the joy of his salvation and his saved state led him to repent of his adultery.  Sadly, the doctrine of works salvation kills the wounded and prevents growth in grace.  It's all about self which ironically produces different results.

So why do Christians do good works?  It's not to be saved or to stay saved (both built on self-righteousness), it's only out of gratitude of being saved and that God's grace creates REAL good works (Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 2:11-15) and they do not depart because they're saved (1 John 2:19).  On the other hand, the works salvation crowd are thieves because they do good works but it was not prepared for them.  Honestly it doesn't take 800 pages to defend the safety and security of Christians when it comes to eternity. All who teach that eternal security proponents give a license to sin are obviously liars and hypocrites who are still relying on themselves and getting exposed by their own doctrinal stands that they CANNOT keep.
