Unsaved Reprobates Have NO ONE but Themselves to Blame for Their Damnation

"The doctrine of Reprobation does not mean that God refuses to save those who earnestly seek salvation.  The fact is that the reprobate have no longing for the Saviour - they see no beauty in Him, that they should desire Him.  They will not come to Christ - why then should God force them to?  He turns away none who do come - where then is the injustice of God foredetermining their just doom?   None will be punished but for their iniquities; where then, is the supposed tyrannical cruelty of the Divine procedure?"

~ Arthur Pink, "The Sovereignty of God"

There is no doubt that the unsaved man is a reprobate man.  I really have no question about it that before I was saved, I was a reprobate.  When my life changed after salvation, it was God's work and not my work.

Do you know why God does not save those who love their sin?  It is because these people do not long for the Lord Jesus Christ, they see no beauty in Him nor do they desire Him.  They reject the Christ of Scriptures and many of them want to be saved in their sins and not from sins.  Psalm 199:155 says the sad truth that salvation is far from the wicked because they seek not the statues of God.  Worse, many of these people who love their sin do not even believe themselves to be wicked but morally righteous people.

If they will not come to Christ then why will God force them?  Romans 10:10-13 has the declaration of the Lord Jesus Christ believing in your heart the death, burial and resurrection.  Only those who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

The problem is found in John 5:40 that says that people refuse to come and not that they cannot come.  The problem with sinful men is that they love sin and that no one can love sin and the Savior at the same time.  They would accept any Jesus that suits their wants but never the Jesus of the Bible that saves from sin.  They have none but themselves to blame for their own damnation.

Likewise, Judas Iscariot had no one but to blame but himself that he is in Hell right now.  Remember he was three and a half years working with the Lord Jesus with the other disciples.  Outwardly, it looked like he gave his life to Jesus.  Inwardly, he did not really give his life to Jesus.  John 17:12 states the hard fact that none is lost but him the son of perdition.  Whatever his motives were, perhaps he thought of becoming rich or for Jesus to overthrow the Roman Rule.  When he betrayed Christ, he still had the choice of either repenting and be forgiving or to take away his own life.
