2 Corinthians 6:2-Today is the Day of Salvation

2 Corinthians 6:2- "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)"

Yes that is true.  The Bible warns in in Proverbs 27:1 and James 4:14 that one cannot truly be certain of tomorrow.  There may be plans anybody can have today and they can't be carried out tomorrow.  Try to take a look at events in one's life that one planned for something, only to end up in disappointment.  The worse disappointment that can happen is when death suddenly comes.

Death can come anytime- it is no respecter of age.  Some people die very early, others can die very late.  Even if a man lives up to be 100, it's merely a nanosecond in eternity.  Many people intend to put salvation up to the last minute or even at the death bed, what if there will be no death bed?  Other people can die directly like in a hostage crisis like the 9/11 incident, suicide bombings and poof they lose their chances to repent right that moment because they died instantly.  People should not put off every chance to get saved and get saved now while it's not yet too late.  Many intend to get saved at 11:00 but due at 8:00.  How tragic.

Okay somebody can say, "If I remain in grace, there will still be Purgatory to grant me my chances." or "Well there is still reincarnation to look up to."  Well, there will be NO chances after death.  Hebrews 9:27 is clear saying, "For as it appointed unto man once to die but after this the Judgment."  That is, once dead, it's over.  Jesus resurrected only believers and so did His apostles, not the unsaved to be consistent with the statement.
