The Need for Housewives!

Good Christians can definitely get berated several times by people saying they're a sexist religion and that they are promoting parasitism by insisting for the need of a full-time housewife at the home. Why do I consider the need for a full-time mother? First and foremost, the Bible ordained that Adam was to toil for the soil; Eve was to be the maker of the home and God dictated it throughout. God already ordained the responsibility of provision for the man, the woman was meant to be his help meet. When God created Eve, He took the rib from Adam and not from the head and not from the foot. The reason was according to Matthew Henry that it was for the sake of being equal. Sadly, today many are going against God’s Word and are now overdriven by the feminist movement and Communist labor system which demands women to also provide for the household financially or reversing the man-woman roles in the households.

As said, when the children are born, the wife ought to stop working for some time because the children do after all, need their mother. If both parents were at work, it becomes a serious dilemma if the mother isn’t taking care of the children. Just imagine if the mother was abroad earning money, the father is also at work and then the children may be left at the hands of an incompetent babysitter. Sad as it is, such children have a higher tendency to be misguided because the mother is not there. Talk about the children left alone to themselves will bring their mother to shame (Proverbs 29:15). This will bring the question up of, "Where was mama?" True the question will really arise saying, "Where was mama?"

Just imagine the case at the principal’s office when a child offends big time. The principal wants to talk with the MOTHER of the child and then when she calls the house, there is nobody there or the maid may say that the mother is ABROAD working for an extra income in the household. Then of course, if I were the principal I’d say, "Now wasn’t that supposed to be mama’s responsibility?" Sadly the house has turned into a two-headed monstrosity because the husband is the head of the household and the wife is the HEART NOT THE HEAD of the household. However the case is different when both parents work forextra income- especially when the mother is most needed at home. Then the modernistic husband replies that housewives are nothing but leeches that need to be destroyed. We are driven by the consequences of ignoring God's Biblical model for the home with the modernization and all in the name of evolution or should I say evilution.

Without a housewife who is going to tutor the children, do the grocery and cook the meals? The housewife is the queen of the castle, the one who takes care of the home when papa is at work. She is in charge of raising the children to proper values, take them to school and tutor them during the evening. Easy work? No… not at all! In fact, as I see it, it’s okay for a woman to have a job as long as the children have grown up and she doesn’t have to do overtime although such jobs will be guaranteed to be a low paying, minimum wage earning one compared to that what the feminists would want to do. Also it’s not even good for a pregnant woman to do heavy work either. In fact, feminism is making women more miserable than happy.

Talk about the overseas worker woman who refuses to quit her job after she marries her husband- she many soon happily flirt with other men when she’s not at home. Then when she returns, the husband discovered she had an affair with another man or may be carrying a child that’s not biologically his. Then what happens next is that annulment cases skyrocket higher not only because of the husband but also because of the wife having another man. In America today, many annulments also happen because of the rebellious wife aside from the philandering husband. Ever noticed the lasciviousness of women of the women who refuse to submit and be housewives? Seriously the divorce rates skyrocket thanks to rebellious women too!

Besides God ordained it already from Old Testament to the New Testament that the wife must SUBMIT to her husband! Women like Ruth are the perfect example- she was in fact the help-meet to Boaz. Or who can deny Mary the mother of Jesus’ fine motherhood in taking care of all her children and her submission to her husband Joseph. Also if a wicked woman like Jezebel could submit to her wicked husband Ahab and be a help-meet in the castle, there’s really no reason for other women not to do so. In fact Athaliah was the picture of what every woman should not be- she would not submit. Jehoram was henpecked for sure that is.
