Do the Spirits of the Dead Bother the Living?

I am pretty much bothered by people who claim that their departed dead still bother them or that my deceased relatives are watching me from the afterlife either in Heaven or in Hell. So I would like to address the questions with my answer of being no. Someday the directress of my alma mater will depart for Heaven, my grandmother in the faith will soon depart for Heaven and then someday I will depart for Heaven with every other Christian while the rest will go to Hell, not just float in the air when they die. Here's my stand from the Biblical perspective:
Ecclesiastes 9:5-6- "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love and their hatred and their envy is now perished neither have any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun."

In short, the dead know where they are it may be Heaven or Hell BUT they know not anything about the events here on Earth. Also let us think of the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. When the rich man died, we discover the following things about Heaven and Hell. The rich man saw Lazarus in Heaven but there's a great gulf fixed. A gulf is described as, "a deep chasm" or "a wide gap" to which may suggest that it could be pretty dark. So if that's the case, the rich man who was in Hell could not see what his five brothers was doing, he was most likely worried they would be in Hell with him. Even the rich man was aware that he had no hope anymore in Hell. He knew he had no hope and he didn't want his five brothers to end up in Hell with him which the King James uses the word brethren for English which the Greek translates as adelphos. With that in mind, the rich man may have feared that if his brothers were to go to Hell, they will accuse him of leading him there thus adding to his torment. Also if Lazarus were in Purgatory, he would be in torment as well.

Now here's the more ridiculous notion from typical Roman Catholics claiming that the dead are bothering them in their dreams asking for prayers or making requests. They tell me that they have had dreams about their dead relatives, go to a dream interpreter to have that dream interpreted then say that the person is asking for prayers. Now that just even contradicts the story of the rich man and Lazarus where the former begged Abraham to send Lazarus not to tell his five brothers to pray for the repose of his soul but to warn them about Hell lest they enter there. The rich man was aware he was in Hell, no questions asked. And also, the dead are too busy either praising God or screaming in pain in Hell to be aware of what's going on Earth. God no longer speaks to us through dreams and visions, they've ended not ever since the Book of Revelation was completed when He warned in Revelation 22:19 that no more revelations will be done. What is pretty bad about these so-called visions is that they are actually fueling the sinister greed of the indulgence machine- pay for each and every Mass hoping the souls of the departed will rest. And what is even worse is that it's gone like 34 years, 70 years and in one case by Pastor Ruben L. Lumagbas Jr.'s experience when he went to a funeral home a prayer request was made for a person who was dead for 92 years and possibly even higher.

These so-called visions of their dead loved ones are actually demons that keep the person bound to the sinister system. The Bible also says in 1 John 4:1 saying, "Beloved believe not every spirit but TRY THE SPIRITS whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." or in the Good News Translation it says, "My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit but thest them to find out if the spirit they ahve comes from God. For MANY false prophets have gone out everywhere." Now only if Roman Catholics would just test the validity of Scripture, even Martin Luther and Girolamo Savonarola (who notoriously attacked Alexander VI of the Borgias who was a predecessor to Martin Luther voicing out people to leave the Babylon system) tested the validity of Scripture against the Councils and traditions with a Roman Catholic Bible. The Roman Catholics go to ask for interpretation from the priests who really are but only unsaved humans doomed to Hell. In fact, the indulgences were what Martin Luther burned because of such stupid doctrine that bounded people for their eternal deaths!

For another, we do read in Revelation 6:9-11 about the deceased ones in Christ are aware of the martyrdom yet I do not read in any of them bothering the living. No, not at all. They are aware of the persecutions on Earth that it's going on but most likely, they do not know the specifics. These altar of saints who were martyred can be seen more likely as the Tribulation saints who are told to wait until their fellows are to be killed. So again, they are allowed to witness the events yet they do not bother the living for prayers. Some might even say this is Purgatory but they're not bothering people for prayers for their relief. Instead, they are told to wait until the rest of the saints have been martyred during the Tribulation period.
