You Can't Expect Christianity Without Enemy Attacks!

I remembered the statement that said, "When you become a Christian, you have just joined the unpopular crowd." The more I grow into the Christian life, the more I understand why the world hates Christians. John 15:18-19 and James 4:4 declares the glorious truth that when you are accepted of God, you cannot be accepted of man. If you are of the world, you are an enemy of God and if you are a friend of God, you are an enemy of the world. I see no reason why I should seek to be accepted by the enemy and I only expect my life to become more complicated as I grow in grace in Jesus Christ. I do not expect to live a life free from attacks, in fact I am always waking up expecting another attack from the enemy. When Satan attacks the believer, I can take assurance in the fact that he cannot attack me unless he gets permission from God. 1 Timothy 3:2 says that those who live godly lives will suffer persecution. Because Christians are going to live godly by the grace of God then they should expect persecution from the world.

The Christian can also be stuck in between a rock and a hard place. The Kingdom of Satan is divided against itself. Babylon Religion has never been truly united as one place after the other has not only copied from the Bible but from each other as well. Many religions of the world rival each other for top position. The Roman Catholic institution did not only go against born again Christians but also other pseudo-Christian cults and other religions. Muslim states did not only go against born Christians but also every other religion. Christians can also be suck in between the preposterous lies of various heretics as heresies also tend to go against each other. Anti-Catholic cults can even accuse born again Christians of working for the Vatican and the Vatican can also accuse born again Christians of working for any of the anti-Catholic cults or being an anti-Catholic cult. All these accusations are usually baseless and designed by the Devil to discourage the Christian.

John Bunyan's quote here says that Christ is the whole armory. In Ephesians 6:10-18, we are to wear the Armor of God but where can be get it? Remember the helmet is salvation, the breastplate is Christ's righteousness because ours will not help, faith is the shield that keeps the Christian going, being in Christ gets one ready for spiritual attacks, the truth of Christ is the belt that keeps us away from our dishonest habits and the sword is the Word of God. The whole battle is fought daily and Christians should never expect permanent rest until they are called Home to be with the LORD.
