Are You Trusting God in Everything?
Proverbs 3:5-6 says,"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
This is the call of the Christian life - that they are not only slaves of Christ but He is also their kind and loving master. This is the slave who is totally dependent on the kind and loving Master, this is the slave that is willing to be the slave of a Master who redeems from the cruelty and bondage of sin. Christians should remember that as slaves of Christ, they have a Master who they can trust to direct their paths to the proper direction.
Trusting God starts with small spiritual matters before it goes to the greater spiritual matters. If you cannot be entrusted with small things how can you be entrusted with bigger things? It is the same that if you cannot trust God in small matters then how can you trust Him in greater spiritual matters? This trust accompanying obedience starts with obeying His simple commands then it grows into doing greater things for Him.
