Revelation 3:5 Explained

Revelation 3:5 says, "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."  This verse has been used to again justify a faith plus works salvation and the type two legalism which requires good works to stay saved.  Again, if that were true Ephesians 2:8-9 would be lying and if Ephesians 2:10 were "plus works" then Ephesians 2:8-9 would be a lie.  So while the works salvation crowd says it means a Christian could lose their salvation and be blotted out, however it is quite the opposite. 1 John 5:5-13 should explain it all on who is the overcomer against sin and Satan- they who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  However it does not remain to just believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  James 2:19 says that the devils believe that there is one God and tremble.  It's not merely believing that Jesus Ch

Roman Catholicism's Campaign Against Immorality is Show Business

Here's a reality that must be revealed- the Vatican's campaign against immorality is nothing more than just show business . According to former Roman Catholics turned Bible-believing Christians especially those who came out of the priesthood, the Vatican uses its campaign against immorality as a means to deceive the world into seeing her as holy, righteous and the one true Church when she is not. It's nothing more than a ruse and a means to control people. So what's really going on? With these campaigns against immorality, they want to build some "common grounds" with the Bible-believing Christians. Why? It's a means to say, "We'll we're the same with the Baptists, we just have a different interpretation." when they are NOT. True there is common ground but that is NOT enough to make them EXACTLY the same. Well here are some issues that the Roman Catholic institution is openly against that Bible-believing Christians are against:

Faulty Interpretations of the Scriptures or BAD HERMENEUTICS!

Why is there much faulty interpretation of the Scriptures?  Here's a simple answer to a simple question- they DO NOT STUDY IT PROPERLY!  2 Timothy 2:15-16 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth . But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."  How true.  2 Peter 1:20-21 says, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation .  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost ." which further shows that Scriptures are not of man's interpretation but by God. So how does the faulty interpretation of Scriptures start?  Simple.  Here's what's going on: First, p eople DO NOT study hard on the Scriptures, they are TOO LAZY to do so and even rely on what people have to say WITHOUT re-examining things .  Wise pastors would ha

Hebrews 12:14 Explained

Hebrews 12:14 says, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" At first it seems to be works salvation but it is NOT.  This concise commentary on the matter will clear up that this is NOT a works salvation verse or a salvation maintained by works verse since salvation is by grace through faith and it results to good works from God not the other way around (Ephesians 2:8-10).  So what does the mean?  The best way to interpret the Bible again is with the Bible.  Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven ." and Romans 14:19 says, "Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." Well here's a bit of an update today, what does holy mean?  What does it mean to have holiness or no man will see God?  Here are definitions of the word "holy" which again has mo

Jesus Christ is the Lord of EVERY Christian

Here's one fact that can't be denied by EVERY Christian including the babes in Christ and those who may have backslid that Jesus Christ is their Lord indeed . It's that Lordship that makes the backslider repent (because of his/her state as being saved) and it also makes the babe in Christ grow in grace. However, the word "LORD" is being misappropriated and used as a means to teach works salvation and some even use the word lordship salvation when it should be used for these clowns as lordship of works salvation . However this is NOT the case when it's preached as receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. First and foremost, it is the stand of this blog ministry that a Christian CANNOT lose their salvation. However it is no license to sin either. Also, it would be impossible to be a Christian and not even bearing one good fruit. The Lord saved men to serve, not to sin. If Jesus is not your Lord and Master, then He never became your Savior in the first place.

A Christian's Anger is NOT Sin

Here's a big extreme heresy going on that there are unrestrained hippies who teach that anger is a sin.  Here's what- anger is NOT a sin .  For a reality, Ephesians 4:26 says, "Be ye angry, and sin not : let not the sun go down upon your wrath:" proving that anger is NOT a sin.    Some things that should be taken note of: Christians because of their state of being once saved, always saved meaning that the effects of salvation are never lost like a new attitude towards sin , will always be ANGRY with sin even against their own doings because they failed God and they want what is right to prevail.  Christians do not expect to be happy with sins especially if they're the ones who committed it.  David was upset about his whole affair with Bathsheba.  Solomon was upset about how he wasted the wealth God entrusted to Him.  Peter was upset with his cowardice when he denied his Christianity.   In a world of sinful men, God does not expect Christians to rejoice at

More Vatican Hypocrisy: Pope Benedict XVI Tries to Harmonize Evolutionism vs. Creationism

During the Easter vigil, Pope Benedict XVI has officially made his declaration that evolution is in harmony with the Genesis account when it cannot be.  For one, evolution is a pagan myth that cannot be in harmony with God's view.  Also, in his condemnation of the creationist view or taking Genesis literally, he has once again challenged the infallible Word of God.  Is it surprising?  Nope not for anybody who's know the facts about the Roman Catholic faith having altered doctrines throughout the centuries.  Their doctrines can be seen nothing more than manmade traditions placed above the Word of God (Mark 7:8-9). Just a few facts- Charles Darwin's followers did not limit to atheists- some of them were also Roman Catholics like Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini and Francisco Franco.  Pope Pius XII has made a declaration of considering the harmony between Charles Darwin's theory (and he was a Freemason, not an atheist) with the Genesis account.  Pope John Paul II embraced

Chinese Christians Arrested at Easter Service

This is the type of news that would get the atheist unions happy.  Here's the news clip below: Taken from:  http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/04/24/3199442.htm Up to 30 members of a Chinese evangelical church were arrested on Sunday (local time) for trying to hold an Easter service in defiance of the officially atheist government, a member of the clergy said. A large number of police began to gather early on Sunday in the Zhongguancun area of Beijing, where the Shouwang Church had said it would hold an outdoor service to mark the holiest day of the Christian calendar. "Between 20 and 30 followers were taken away by police," senior pastor Jin Tianming said from his home, where he is under house arrest. He said there were several police officers on duty outside the building. He added that the members of the congregation who had been arrested had been taken to different police stations and that none had so far been released.

Despite the Evidence, MANY ATHEISTS Still Reject the Truth of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Here's a REALLY amazing fact- despite the undeniable evidence, there will always be scoffers who like the Pharaoh of the Exodus, will still refuse to believe that there is a God and His Name is Jesus Christ.  They still refuse to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Second Person in the Godhead  and that He alone rose from the dead.  The Bible is clear that Jesus had a hypostatic union- He existed as both man and God at the same time .  As man, He died and as God, He sinned not and rose from the dead.  What a wonderful Lord and Savior. Why is it so?   Well it's a matter of an overdose of pride to let Him into their lives .  In order to really get rid of the resurrection from the minds of people, some atheists have gone as far as to even try to disprove the fact that Jesus Christ really existed which is happening in many Communist countries today even when He was written (though not all sources declare His divinity) in MANY history books as a real person in c

An Easter Sunday Message on The Appeal of the Lord Jesus Christ

Mark 2:14 has the instance of where Levi also known as Matthew the publican was called to service. This is the appeal of the Lord Jesus Christ- salvation is a calling from the old life to the new life. This would be a good "easter egg" from this blog ministry for all the readers to enjoy (or most of them don't). Now here's how the Lord Jesus Christ appeals to people: I. First, He appeals to people by His speech. John 7:46 says, "The officers said, Never man spake like this man." As a speaker, Jesus was a firm, strict, means business and tough as nails yet He was also soft-spoken and gentle at the same time- a balance MOST people do not have even the best of preachers. He spoke scary messages to wake people up but without intimidating them. Reading back and forth in John 7, He was loving. One can be strict, firm and meaning well to business without love but one can never be loving without being strict, firm and meaning well to business .

An Easter Message: Sunday Worship Defended

We would like to greet everyone a happy Easter and it's time to sing "He Lives" and "Victory in Jesus". The resurrection of Christ was no myth- it is a reality that He indeed is risen and His death, burial and resurrection are ALL REAL!  Please not that the idea of good Friday as well is NOT a Roman Catholic invention but rather that He, Jesus, really died on a Friday Roman time (Thursday on Jewish time) and that He rose on a Sunday so it's time to really defend why Christians worship on a Sunday according to the solar calendar in contrast to the Jewish who do it on a Saturday.   As said because Jesus rose on a Sunday, that had effectively ENDED the Saturday law ONCE AND FOR ALL .  Here are the events that first prove that Jesus Himself ( and NOT the Vatican ) instituted the Sunday ordinance as the day of worship: Remember, Jesus rose again on a SUNDAY morning. Jesus met with His disciples EVERY SUNDAY in Matthew 28:8-10, Mark 16:9-12 and Luke

The Illegal Trial of Jesus Christ

Since it's Good Friday it would be best to talk something about the illegal trial of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why was it illegal? Here are the reasons: 1.) It was entirely based on bias and NO formal charges were made against Him. Also Deuteronomy 19:15 required two or more VALID witnesses. Mark 14:53-55 has it that there were NO charges to be found against Jesus. He was TOTALLY INNOCENT. Note that He spoke the truth that He is the Son of God therefore, He could not be validly executed for blasphemy. 2.) It was an accomplice used to arrest Jesus. Remember Judas Iscariot the apostate (John 17:12)? He was a wolf in sheep's clothing and he was not saved to start with. Here's another fact to learn, "The ancient Hebrews forbade the use of accomplice testimony . . . The arrest of Jesus was ordered upon the supposition that He was a criminal: this same supposition would have made Judas, who had aided, encouraged, and abetted Jesus in the propagation of Hi

Debunking the Idea that Judas Iscariot was a Christian

The anti-eternal security crowd has also resolved to use Judas Iscariot to trying to prove their doctrine as valid that you can lose your salvation. However, again the truth is you CANNOT lose your salvation - it is a permanent issue and the effects of salvation such as bearing fruit for Jesus and a conviction for sin are evidence of a salvation that cannot be lost. To start with, Judas Iscariot was NOT a Christian nor did he lose his salvation, he NEVER had it in the first place. 1 John 2:19 calls every deserter a fake. By his actions throughout the truth of the Scripture, he was not a Christian to begin with. If he was truly a Christian, he would NEVER completely fall away. Peter fell away but not completely. Judas Iscariot did! So where can the proof of Judas Iscariot as a fake Christian can be found? Notice that he never called Jesus as Lord, to begin with, which is really a HUGE sign of insolence. He was an unrepentant thief in John 12:5-6. Luke 6:16 already labels him the t

Hebrews 10:26 Explained

Hebrews 10:26 says, "For if we sin willfully after receiving knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." The verse above seems to actually imply a loss of salvation EVERY TIME a Christian sins. However the case is quite different when read further. Which now, it would be best to read through Hebrews 10:27-29 saying, "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace ?" So why is there the statement of willful sinning? First- sinning is done at free will whether it be ignorance or on purpose . A jaywalker walks across the street at his free will whether

Philippians 2:12 Explained

Image
Philippians 2:12 says, "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Does this mean that one must work out to keep their salvation or lose it in the process? Absolutely not otherwise it would contradict Ephesians 2:8-9 in which salvation is by grace through faith and if it is not of works, it is of grace otherwise it is of works as stated in Romans 11:6. On the other hand it should perfectly with Ephesians 2:10 and Titus 2:11-15 where God's grace teaches the fear of the LORD in the live of the believer. The Christian life is never without the Lordship of Christ. As said, Jesus is Lord and He means business. Christians should always seek guidance from the LORD and obey Him lovingly to get that salvation out of them, as in to show what a saved life really means but it should be done in an attitude of relying on God's grace. Matthew 5:16 says letting

James 2 DOES NOT Teach Works Salvation

In a hasty attempt to defend works salvation, they would appeal to James 2.  It would be time to actually clear the fact that Paul and James DO NOT contradict each other . James 2 DOES NOT teach works salvation in which now can be clearly seen when this whole chapter is being dissected to show that James 2 does not defend the heretic crowd.  So let's try to check out what James 2 really is saying. So first, it's time to think about these facts to debunk the heretical argument of using James 2: 1.) James 2:14-18 is not talking about works salvation but rather, again showing one's faith by one's works.  James 2:18 is a challenge to show one's faith.  Want to know about faith?  Hebrews 11 talks about the results of faith with some of the heroes of the Bible.  Try to coincide Hebrews 11 and James 2 and one sees the results of faith.  As said, when one says that a faith without works is DEAD because true faith produces good works to validate faith.  That's r

Matthew 25:31-46 Explained

Another passage that is misapplied to teach the doctrine of works salvation is Matthew 25:31-46. However a closer look, it does NOT teach works salvation. Rather, it gives a distinction mark between the saved vs. the unsaved. So where are the distinction marks? Here's what it should REALLY mean based on interpreting the Bible with the Bible . So let's start with the side of the sheep shall we? (Matthew 25:34-40) First, let's try to be sure that nobody is ever saved by the good works nor by any means maintain their salvation by good works that they do and that's a straight fact BUT the saving power of God saves people from their sins which has separated them from God to be redeemed unto good works, and as an inevitable result do good works because Christians will bear fruit (Matthew 1:21, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 2:11-15, Hebrews 9:14). This does not mean that Christians need to do genuine good works to enter Heaven but rather, Christians do good works i

John 15:14 Explained

John 15:14 says, "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." This verse has been misapplied in many works salvation apologists' blogs and websites (especially by Roman Catholic apologists) that the verse supports salvation by works (which can either be taught as getting saved by works or staying saved by works, both are a sure road to Hellfire).  However what does the verse really mean? First and foremost, it's always best to remember this statement, "It is impossible to be a saved person or who is called a Christian by the standards of God and not do good works as a result of salvation ."  It's the stand of this ministry that it is once saved, always saved and being saved means a new regenerate life- though as inconsistent but there will always be fruit as a result of Christian life.  Of course, there are unbelievers who do good works but it's much different from Christian's good works- one strives to please God and is doin

Testimony of Pastor William Murray

I was born into a home of near constant rage and violence. My mother never married my father or my brother's father. As a result of my mother's constant angry outbursts she could not hold down a job and she, my brother and I lived with her parents and my unmarried uncle in a small row house in Baltimore, Maryland. My grandfather had never filed an income tax return and most of what he did do during his life was illegal or ill advised. He had no savings. My grandmother read Tarot cards and sent out demons by burning human hair. My uncle kept hoards of pornography in his room and my mother filled the house with statues of mating animals which she worshipped. My mother accepted the communist doctrine when I was about ten years old and from that time on there were socialist and communist study group meetings in the basement of our Baltimore home. I was taught that because there was not God there was no such thing as right or wrong. My mother told me it was better to be a homosex

The Purpose of Trials in the Christian Life

Image
We can use Deuteronomy 8 as an illustration which reveals God's reason for the trials in the wilderness, rather than just bring them to the land of promise. Well the ONLY thing that was removed from the Old Testament was the ceremonial laws but NEVER the moral laws. As said, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that God is faithful as not to try the Christian beyond which they are not able because He is able! Here are the purposes: I. To humble and to prove, to know what's inside the hearts of people to see the genuine faith (Deuteronomy 8:2) Trials keep a person humble. It was in the wilderness that humility happens. It is through harsh circumstances that the dross is removed. For example, Job was revealed to have a hidden attitude of self-righteousness when his trials. It was through the harsh desert that Moses learned the power of God and that it was God, not him who ultimately did the rest. They did their best for God, God did the rest
