Testimony of Former Discalced Carmelite Priest, Bartholomew Brewer

Note: This guy also appeared in "Catholicism: Crisis of Faith" Millions - perhaps the majority -of Roman Catholics, are Catholic by name, by culture, or by inertia. Our family, however, was Roman Catholic by conviction. We understood and practiced the teachings of our religion. We believed it to be the "one true church" founded by Jesus Christ.  Because of this, we accepted without question everything our priests taught. In those days before Vatican II, the common belief was that "outside the Roman Catholic Church there is no salvation." This brought us a feeling of security, of being right. We were somehow safe in the arms of "holy mother church." From the time my father died (I was almost ten), my mother attended daily Mass, not missing even one day for over twenty-four years. Our family faithfully recited the rosary every evening. We were encouraged to make regular visits to the "blessed sacrament." In addition to the teaching at ...

Testimony of Mutee Al Fadi, a Former Muslim Turned Christian

Taken from:  http://www.answering-islam.org/authors/alfadi/testimony.html I am a former  Wahabbi  Muslim who was born into a Muslim family and was raised as a Muslim in Saudi Arabia. All of my life in Saudi I grew up as a very devout Muslim follower who adhered and applied the teachings of Islam into every aspect of my life. These teaching included the belief that Islam is the final religion on earth; that it is the only acceptable religion to God; that it is the way to Heaven; that those who do not accept Islam as their faith are doomed to go to hell and their work and worship will not save them unless they accept Allah as their god and Muhammad as his messenger; that salvation for the Muslims is by work and it is never guaranteed except for those who are willing to die in the name of Allah; that Muslims are superior to all others; that all non-Muslims are considered infidels, this includes Christians; that Christ is only a human and a prophet sent by Allah; that He is...

Is Interracial Marriage Acceptable Between Christians? Yes!

Image
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.- Galatians 3:28 Here's another issue worth tackling as someone can ask is interracial marriage acceptable when it's between two Christians who by virtue can be married legally? The answer would definitely be a YES! First, it's best to review the fact that marriages between believers and unbelievers are NEVER acceptable to God and should be avoided (2 Corinthians 6:14-15, Ephesians 5:21). The reason why God did not allow the Israelites to intermarry with the Canaanites was not that they were not Israelites but because they were idolaters lest their children will reject the faith and be unsaved. However interracial marriages between believers are totally acceptable before God. That means it's okay for Christians of different races within God's Law to marry one another regardless of what their color is. Here are some Bibl...

The Deception Was SO GREAT They Believe It To Be True!

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 says, "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved .  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusions that they should believe a lie : that they all might be damned who believeth not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness ." How true indeed.  First, time to list out things what truth is not: 1.) Truth is NOT based on whatever works.  This is the heresy of pragmatism.   Example: Major cults do operate at large scales and become mega churches but they do not preach the truth. Many of these cults including the Roman Catholic institution try to justify their wrongs by their popularity. 2.) Truth is NOT based on what is coherent and understandable. Example: There are many conspiracy theorist groups across the web and many of them go against each other.  One can always make up stories and post it as they see it.  It's painti...

The Crisis of Faith in Roman Catholicism

Image
There is no doubt that a crisis of faith has hit the Roman Catholic faith and why? There has been confusion between Catholicism vs. the Bible (and today, many people try to compromise the truth with the lies with faulty defenses) and the fact that the fruits have been so sour. One can witness the typical Roman Catholic living so sinfully and religiously, one can wonder, "Is it really of God?" Satan's greatest satire has deceived people especially during the Dark Ages and until today but the Word of God is greater. The chains are breaking loose and the Gospel is being proclaimed. Amen. As a former Roman Catholic, I wish for my still Catholic friends to get saved before it's too late. I take no pleasure in attacking false religion nor seeing people die in their sins, now I write this article to help in soulwinning. Well... here's a video below to explain more: This video presents former Catholic priests, nuns and seminarians who left th...

Roman Catholics Severely Misrepresenting the Born Again Christian Stand on Mary

Many Roman Catholics (not all) have their own strange ideas, which even in some forums, one Roman Catholic faith defender actually gets divided against the other to no surprise to anybody who knows the secrets of the Council of Trent's divisions.  So the issue now is that these Roman Catholics misrepresent the born again Christian view of Mary because of the following: 1.) In getting rid of images that are supposed to honor Mary. Comment: Well, in the first place, there is NO WAY that any graven image is allowed for worship.  Exodus 20:4-5 is frequently removed from the Roman Catholic ten commandments (and in extension the Orthodox churches) to justify the heresy of having graven images and not calling them idolatry. 2.) By saying that Mary is not the queen of heaven and every other unscriptural title given to her is to deprive her of what she truly deserves. Comment: Note that the queen of heaven is a name for a pagan deity, not the mother of Jesus.  Other titles giv...

Strange Ideas about the Trinity from the Cults

There are various cults that attack the vital doctrine of the Trinity. These are the various heresies that are going on: Deism- This is denying the fact that Jesus is God the Son and just a man. Such a heresy in prevalent in some satires of Christianity like the Iglesia ni Manalo and Scientology. Denial of the divinity of the Holy Spirit- While the Bible is clear at the Holy Spirit is a Person (Acts 5:3), however, some cults like the Armstrong movement teach that the Holy Spirit is an impersonal force. Others teach that the Holy Spirit was just a created person and that the Spirit of the LORD is not the Holy Spirit. Jesus as Michael the archangel- This is another heresy that is going on. The Watchtower Society, for example, teaches that Jesus was Michael the archangel and the first creation of God the Father. Modalism- This comes from the word "mode" where the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are but God (as one Person than three Persons) was simply chang...
