Stooping So Low as to Poison the Well!

In the world of apologetic ministries, it would be expected somebody would stoop so low as to poison the well. I do not mean it literally but figuratively which is adequately described by Matt Slick of CARM said in my own words as as, "Presenting negative information about a person before he/she speaks so as to discredit the person's argument. Mostly done by a vile imagination and direct judgment." This creates a cult of conspiracy followers in false religion regardless of whatever denomination they are. The most well-known arguers who are experts in poisoning the well are from the Roman Catholic Church and the best apologists of are the Jesuits followed by the Dominicans. The Somascans also do deserve an honorable mention. However I won't be mentioning the names of specific priests and rather concentrate on this method of persecution and logical fallacy. If Ad Hominem (attacking the person instead of the argument) wasn't enough, wow they have to poison the well!

So let's get straight to how low can the poisoning the well method can get with some of these examples:

1.) Invasion of the privacy of people especially through their social network accounts

I've read how many of our fellow apologists have been attacked by various Catholic blogs (and sorry folks, I am NOT going to even bother posting their URL unless I need evidence) to the point that they even used his Facebook picture. Some of them can go as low as to make up stories of the pictures they have to make the person look bad after getting them from social network accounts.

2.) From obvious lies to half-truths

I have read several Catholic faith defender blogs (and I am trying my best as not to even post their URL as to avoid getting personal with them and as not to give Satan any more soapboxes than he already has but I may have to do so to present proof if need be) of how they have made malicious attempts to destroy born again faith defenders like evangelical defender Bro. Gerald P. Soliman and company. As said, a half-truth is more poisonous than an obvious lie.

Here are some examples of how this is used and most of these are our own examples but they could happen:
  • A Pentecostal minister after a Baptist minister refused to work with him and exposed his doctrine of conditional security (and may have made a serious mistake of attacking persons) decides to expose the Baptist minister as a secret agent of the Vatican with shallow evidence.
  • Matt Slick of CARM got an attack from Evangelical Outreach and was even given a "Skull and Crossbones" award after defending his stand on eternal security.
  • Atheist writers write many bad things about Christians as so they cannot prove evolution is not true via biology. "The God Delusion" is just one of the many books today!
  • Evolutionists teach their doctrine this way. They teach that variation exists within species which is TRUE then they insert the lie that it is proof that men came from animals with that proof!
  • The Jesuit method mixes the truths with the lies. For example, the Jesuits have messed up the biography of many of their opponents like Abraham Lincoln, King James of the AV1611 Bible, Jose Rizal, etc. by putting the truths with their lies so cleverly that people are left confused. It can happen this way that I can be accused by my former masters of being a homosexual, a Freemason, etc. even when it's not true while keeping the truths I was once under their authority, I was a delinquent in elementary and my NSO data.

3.) Making false assumptions based on the entries of the apologists without examining the rest of the blog or website.

It can go like this- the person sees a certain entry that "suggests" that the apologist wants to harm him when it's not true. It can happen oh so often, which creates another loophole in the argument. The Jesuits thanks to the Internet are now experts in convincing people through this type of method of poisoning the well!

4.) Hiding their own sins (or the sins of their respective authorities like pastors and priests) and throwing their own sins at their opponents

Yup how true. Also in many Catholic faith defender sites and blogs, they can be found throwing their own sins at their opponents. Here are the most common examples and I am spelling out incidents that have happened without the names of the attackers but the attacked:
  • A homosexual Catholic priest denies he is a homosexual then attacks a Baptist faith defender as a homosexual.
  • Catholic faith defenders have been found hiding the truth about the Vatican then they throw the accusations like profiteering from their flock and being violent. I have read how honest to goodness Baptists have been assaulted like crazy with sins they didn't even commit.
  • Throwing the accusation of being stalked when they're the ones stalking. See method #1.
  • Sanctimoniously, these critics can go as far as to point out the mistakes of Christians or their shortcomings AS IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT. Let a Christian end up in some problems like Samson, everybody gets their torches yet the Catholic priests despite the revealed harassment cases STILL RECEIVE most respect anyway! Talk about double standard too!

5.) Lastly wolves in sheep's clothing method

This is the method of infiltration against opponents. They can happen in the Internet. Here are some of the following methods to be presented:
  • The Jesuit Oath requires the candidate to try and blend in as much as possible. From the visible to the invisible, that's how it works! Many of these methods involve secretly working with false pastors to enter into various churches they call "Protestant". Then they can start sowing doubt and discord among various movements and their NUMBER ONE enemy happens to be fundamental Baptist Christians so they use fake Baptists to destroy the reputation of the Baptist name.
  • There can be posers who pretend to be Christians then later claim they converted to becoming Catholic, Mormon, ADD, WHATEVER (1 John 2:19) then they make up foul stories about the Baptist faith like giving a license to sin to make them look like Antinomians.
