Surprise: Satan Can ALSO DO MIRACLES!
It has become another lie of the Devil himself to those who he mislead to believe they are following God that he cannot do any miracles. It's common how some Catholic faith defenders try to defend the signs and lying wonders saying that Satan cannot do miracles. But truth is- he can also do miracles to a certain extent. Although he cannot heal amputees or raise the dead to life, he still has ample power to deceive people by his signs and lying wonders. The Bible warns of the demonic signs and wonders that will deceive people in the last days. 2 Corinthians 11:4 warns that Satan can appear as an angel of light to deceive many.
Some verses to show that Satan can also perform miracles to deceive the elect with commentaries in between:
Matthew 24:24- "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
Comment: Yup this is happening. In a desperate attempt to prove they are really Jesus or a prophet of God, many enter into the occult ignoring the fact that a prophet gets his message from God NOT from their own abilities. These happen from Catholic healing masses to Pentecostal rallies. Many false religions were born from demonic apparitions aside from the Roman Catholic Church, these other cults were like Islam, the Church of Felix Manalo, the Mormons, Jehovah's Witness, Not Christian Science, Church of Alexander Campbell and the Moonies in Korea just to name a few. Note that these religions usually contradict each other! Satan is the AUTHOR of confusion.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-9- "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,"
Comment: People are already getting conditioned to receive the Antichrist whenever they demand a sign. Satan pretends to be God and gives it to them. Jesus already warned in Mark 8:12 that there will be NO MORE SIGN to this generation. Witchcraft and NOT God's power is being used in here. Sadly this lie has even caused people to be denied salvation that unless they can do such wonders or see them, they are not saved.
Revelation 13:13- "And he (the False Prophet) doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had the power to do in the sight of the Beast saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the Beast which had the wound by a sword and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the Beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."
Comment: Obviously the Mary of the Apparitions is another sign and lying wonder, not an apparition of God. To further deceive the masses, it's no longer just the plain practical hoax but rather genuine satanic deception of idols involved. These idols can cry water, cry blood and these shrines can actually heal the sick and people go there, believing in the power of the demon behind the statue. The miracle in Fatima was already a preconditioning of the future generation to accept the signs of the False Prophet as genuine and from God. Should we comment that the satanic miracle involving the late nun Faustina actually encouraged people to venerate the image of the "divine mercy Jesus" who is NOT JESUS CHRIST!
Revelation 19:20- "And the Beast was taken with him the False Prophet that wrought miracles before him and which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped the image. These both were cast alive into a lake burning with brimstone."
Comment: Notice that the False Prophet to deceive the people during the Tribulation period used MIRACLES. That means, miracles are NOT always from God. Miracles are NOT the ultimate test of truth but rather- the Bible!
Sadly the situation has come to this that people don't even bother to listen to the Word of God, which in effect causes them to reject that the Bible teaches. They would rather listen to their religious authorities than listen to the Word of God.
