Christians Trapped In Between a Rock and a Hard Place

In the world of Christian apologetics and soulwinning, there will always be a situation that will soon call for a situation that a Christian can be trapped between a rock and a hard place. As Jesus said in Matthew 12:25, Mark 3:24 and Luke 11:27 that a kingdom divided itself cannot stand. Well Satan's kingdom is filled with cults that battle each other- and it's an old issue as various religions have engaged in a battle against each other, each being DOUBLE-CROSSED by the Devil into believing they are right.

Here are some situations a Christian can be caught between a rock and a hard place:

  • Between the parodies of Christianity themselves. It's like the situation that if a Christian refuses to cooperate with a Seventh Day Adventist, Westboro Baptist, Landover Baptist or a Pentecostal, he/she could end up automatically labeled to be working with the Roman Catholic institution or any cult they oppose. Roman Catholic apologists also have been wrongfully affiliating the fundamental Baptist Christian movement with the other parodies of Christianity like the Mormons and the INC when the Baptist Christian is in no way the brethren of these groups. These also include various Protestant movements today that only have churchianity and not Christianity.
  • Between a parody of Christianity and a religion that's openly non-Christian. Other false religions bash the parodies of Christianity and lumps Biblical Christianity with the parodies of Christianity. Atheist blogs count Roman Catholics as Christians when they are not.
  • Between religions that are openly not Christian. Yup this is true. When evangelizing in the Mediterranean regions, it can happen that there's a caught in between Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, Parseeism and Islam all opposed to one another.
  • Between the pro-ecumenical vs. the anti-ecumenical. The Roman Catholic institution as an example has suffered from yet another schism as some consider today's papacy a deviation of the tradition. Why there's even the "True Catholic" which is an offshoot of the Vatican because of the ecumenical movement. A Christian would be called a bigot because he/she is anti-ecumenical and can suffer persecution by the anti-ecumenical cultists. Both sides want to tear him/her apart.

Truth is, a Christian's life is no walk in the park. Family (even the parents), friends and relatives can become his/her worst enemies. Jesus already warned in Matthew 10:36 that a man's foes can be his own household. How true indeed.
