Why Jesus is Better than Muhammad

This is a love message for Muslims this Ramadan.  Here's where Jesus Christ is better than Muhammad and always was, always will be.  And Jesus Christ is more than willing to forgive any Muslim who will simply repent and believe in Him, forgive all their past wrongs and give them eternal life.  

Between their natures:

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came down from Heaven to Earth, He is God in the flesh.  Muhammad was but a man.
  • Jesus Christ knew no sin who became sin for man for salvation (2 Corinthians 5:21).  Muhammad was a rotten sinner who was unrepentant.
  • Muhammad died without Christ and is still in Hell, Jesus has conquered death and is in Heaven.

Differences in their methods of evangelism

  • Muhammad was a taker of life, Jesus is a giver of life (John 10:26-28).
  • Muhammad said, "Convert or die." but Jesus said "Believe and live" (John 6:47).
  • Muhammad was an Anti-Semetic but Jesus ordered the Gospel to be preached to the Jews even if many would reject Him.
  • Muhammad shed the blood of others but Jesus shed His blood for the forgiveness of sinners (Ephesians 1:7).
  • Muhammad was unforgiving to infidels but Jesus prayed to His Father for their forgiveness (Ephesians 1:7).  
  • Muhammad declared war on infidels but Jesus but Christians are told to love their enemies instead (Matthew 5:43-48).
  • Muhammad was constraining people in hate but Jesus constrained people by His love (2 Corinthians 5:14).
  • Muhammad declared death for the sinner but Jesus died for sinners (Romans 5:8).
  • Muhammad hated music but Jesus and His disciples sang (Matthew 26:30).
  • Muhammad willed that the Koran be authoritative only in Arabic but the Bible became authored in different languages.  Evidence was the apostles were given instant fluency to preach to various languages.
  • Muhammad willed it that the Islamic religious leaders can be terrorists too like the late Osama bin Laden.  However Jesus' rules for religious leaders were requiring peace-loving family men (1 Timothy 3:1-7, 5:19-20).

The Christian vs. the Muslim

  • Many Muslims who are not violent don't know much of their Koran.  The Christian is peaceful only because of the grace of God (Titus 2:11-15) and because they have their Bible.
  • The Muslim's Koran is a terrorist manual through and through.  The Christian's Bible is the opposite.
  • Muslims submit to Allah not out of love but out of fear.  Christians serve God and obey Him because they love Him.  John 4:19 and 1 John 4:18 say that Jesus loved them first.  Christians fear God in holiness and respect, not in terror and cowardice.
  • The Muslim's religious war is against men.  The Christian's religious war is against the forces of Satan that enslave men (Ephesians 6:10-18).
  • Muslims do good works to try to obtain their righteousness but they are ignorant of God's righteousness (Romans 10:3), Christians do good works because they are counted for righteousness and God's grace leads them to do good works (Romans 4:5-7, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 2:11-15).
  • Muslims don't even know if they can be sure of eternal life.  Christians know that they know they can have eternal life (1 John 5:13).


Hopefully, more souls will be won from Islam to Jesus this Ramadan.  As said, Jesus is not just a prophet, He's the Son of God.
