What's Wrong with Feng Shui?

Feng Shui will always be of the Devil and will always be. It's very sad to see how many people will continue to hate Christians for telling them the truth that their deeds are evil. There is NO place for Feng Shui in the Christian home. Christians MUST reject any form of witchcraft. It does not mean that Feng Shui is not Twilight or Harry Potter that it's not witchcraft. God warns, "When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee." in Deuteronomy 18:9-12.

So what is Feng Shui about? While the words itself are Chinese, the origin can be traced back to Babylon Religion. The practice of allowing the energy to circulate is nothing more than pagan nonsense. The practice can be traced also to other civilizations that had their suns face the sunlight so they worship the sun god early in the morning. They worship the sun and not the Sun of Righteousness, the Lord Jesus Christ. It's all nonsense based on good luck, nature worship and occult amulets believed to drive out evil spirits. Does the amulets involve drive out evil spirits then? Not so saith the Word of God. And if one argues for a New Testament verse, remember that the moral law of God was not repealed only the ceremonial law. Galatians 5:20 clearly lists witchcraft as a fruit of the FLESH. Even the New Testament condemns witchcraft! All the evil spirits come, disguised as good ones but they are not.

In fact one of the many articles in Feng Shui can easily be traced towards pagan worship. The animal symbolism of frogs, monkeys, snakes and cats can all be linked to the abomination of animal worship. It's not to say that all who do that actually worship the animals but they are actually condoning a manmade practice against the Word of God. Feng Shui is based on a prosperity doctrine rather than God's own way of good success. People want a quick buck so they hate God and go to occultism in exchange. Well here's what - the Feng Shui masters get rich by SWINDLING their clients. Many people are lied that they will be spared from bad luck when in fact Jesus NEVER promised a life free from troubles. A Christian may get disappointed when trials come but can take comfort in the fact that Jesus is there to HELP them.

There is also a statement that fortune cookies are usually wrong. How true. Fortune telling is a lie of the Devil. Remember God's words in Deuteronomy 18:20 exacts a heavy death toll saying, "But the prophet which shall presume to speak in My Name which I have NOT commanded him to speak or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall DIE." In the New Testament in Acts 13:7-10 we have the Apostle Paul blinding Elymas the SORCERER, in Acts 16 the Apostle Paul drove out the evil spirit of the woman who was doing her own brand of Feng Shui (no wonder many Chinese don't like the idea of evangelism which is sad but thank God for a few Chinese Christians who will miss the Lake of Fire proviing God loves all races).In Acts 19:19-20 the new converts threw away their witchcraft booksbecause they were lies. Why did they get rid of their witchcraft books? Because it was full of lies. The Christian should do the same with Feng Shui- throw it away because their hope is in Jesus Christ!
