The Arminian's Daisy From Calvinistic Cartoons

Arminianism itself at first appears to preach Scriptural truth but it doesn't teach it.  If there's anything that reveals the ugly veil of the Arminian is that it actually teaches works salvation.  So let's examine the letter Y that says, "You better make sure you keep doing good or you're out."

The typical excuse of Arminian theology is that when you teach the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints, you teach a license to sin.  It's stupid and annoying how these self-righteous Arminians just keep missing the point whenever, whenever and they say that they don't teach works salvation but they say you need to do works to stay saved.  Whether you like it or not, having to work to keep your salvation is just as wrong as saying you need to do good works to attain it.  The Arminian theology is just like the Roman Catholic doctrinal stand that says, "You are first given grace but you must work to keep that grace."

When I look at the idea of the "magic prayer" to why it's sending people to false conversions, how do you expect people to get really saved if they don't even know the implications of the holy Law of God?  It's really nonsense to say, "Well just say this magic prayer and I'm in." and unfortunately, a lot of pulpits today just have people repeating after the preacher and they never understood their sinful state.  It's never enough to just give the Roman Road, the person must be convinced with the basic fact that he or she is a sinner in need of forgiveness.  Today, Charismatics gain converts by the sinner's prayer then they are told, "You better make sure you keep doing good or you're out."

Does that mean I am against works?  In contrast to the accusation, I am not against works not because I am afraid of being kicked out of God's hand but rather, I am not against works because of the grace of God.  Eternal security is not just once saved, always saved as certain areas of a person's life can differentiate a true convert who is immature against the false convert reveling in sin.  Any good work that is done by the Christian is God's grace.  Ephesians 2:10 and Titus 2:11-14 teaches that anybody secure in Christ produces forth good works for their Lord out of love and not out of fear.

The problem that I may point out with Arminianism is also how they just keep missing the point about the perseverance of the saints.  Looking at how their theology goes, I am afraid they teach the heresy that after God saves you, you are on your own.  On the other hand as a person into Reformed Theology, when God permanently saves a person, He also sanctifies the person as Philippians 1:6-7 says that He who begins a good work in me, will certainly finish it.  This is my assurance - I will not lose my salvation and by God's grace, I will not live like the rest of the world.  That's what most Arminians fail to see and I don't intend to argue with them either, it's a major waste of time!
