Contemporary, Modernistic "Churches" Have the Frog in the Kettle Scenario

Let's have a  bit of a science lecture.  If you put a frog in hot water then it will surely jump out.  Put a frog in water and bring it to a boil slowly but surely then it will stay off and die.  A scientific explanation is that the frog's body temperature slowly adjusts to its surroundings considering that it is cold blooded.  So when the water's temperature is slowly but surely increased, the frog will not notice until it is too late.  I am afraid that the same problem is happening with a lot of churches today with watered down preaching of the Gospel, false doctrines being preached such as the "Easy Christianity" movement or the prosperity gospel movement, all these are heretical doctrines to make people feel good.  When you are in a feel good church, all it does is make you feel good all the time according to your carnal pleasures where the person is not aware of the danger he or she is really heading for Hell.

The picture of the frog might be that of the unsaved person and the water boiling is one's journey towards eternal Hell.  If Satan wants to lure people into Hell then he will not appear in how we tend to imagine him as scary monster with two horns on his head carrying a pitchfork.  Instead, he chooses to appear as an angel of light so people will be misled (2 Corinthians 11:14).  The deception is where he slowly but surely makes the road look like that it's pleasant while the person is unaware that they are actually being led to Hell.  Satan can always tell the person that they are good enough for Heaven or that he can make them love sin so much that either way, the lost sinner reject the Lord Jesus Christ.  The person may not even question why it's getting hotter and by the time the flame gets unbearably hot, it is too late for the unsaved sinner because he or she is in Hell.  As Proverbs 14:12 warns that there is a road that seems right unto people but in the end is the road to Hellfire.
