Sorry Atheist, God Won't Change His Mind About Your Sin on Judgment Day!
"Here is terror for the wicked. Those who defy Him, break His laws, have no concern for His glory, but live their lives as though He did not exist, must not suppose that, when at the last they shall cry to Him for mercy, He will alter His will, revoke His word, and rescind His awful threatenings. No, He has declared, "Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them" (Ezek. 8:18). God will not deny Himself to gratify their lusts. God is holy, unchangingly so. Therefore God hates sin, eternally hates it. Hence the eternality of the punishment of all who die in their sins."
~ Arthur Pink, "Gleanings in the Godhead - The Immutability of God"
The quote above by Arthur W. Pink addresses one issue. Many people today want God to just to go away. The reason is that people just love their sin. Many want to defy Him and break His laws and they live their lives as if He didn't exist. Atheists keep saying the lie that there's no God but they know for a fact that there is a God. Romans 1:19-23 says, "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."
The atheists knows God exists and in many ways acknowledges it while showing hatred for God. There is the higher tendency to say that if God is good then why is this happening than if there's a God then why is this happening. It's always about them questioning God's goodness or to why the consequences of sin exists. It's really wicked how man wants to have the pleasure of sinning without the consequences. It's like playing with fire without expecting yourself to get burnt. It's like throwing garbage here and there then you complain why rats and other pests are abundant in that area. That's just how stupid the unsaved are because Satan has blinded them. What's even more stupid is that they still choose to continue in sin in spite of the consequences.
It's better to live sexually pure lives than to invest in billions to find a cure for AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. It's better to live in a society where there are strict rules than to spend money on repairing the damages done by reckless activities. It's something how people tend to spend more money on researching for a cure than prevention. God gave His laws as preventive measures against the consequences of sin. When God forbids sin, it's for the good of the people. If they choose to follow sin then the consequences of sin will follow. It's very appropriate to say, "If you choose your sin, be sure you will also love the consequence." Although the consequences may not be immediate but you reap what you sow. Galatians 6:7-8 warns, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
On judgment day, what will the atheist who died in his or her sins say to God? They can't complain to God that He didn't warn them. Weren't they warned ahead that sin and judgment was coming and they just told God's servants stuff like not to judge them or that God is just a fantasy? Unfortunately, they will be tortured by the fullness of God's wrath one of these days.
