Proverbs 28:1 Misused by Troublemaking Debaters

Proverbs 28:1- "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion."

So far this verse is being misused by troublemakers online or not.  These guys will always be up to looking for trouble one way or another.  For example a Catholic faith defender is bound to accuse this ministry of cowardice and misquoting Proverbs 28:1 by saying, "See... the people of Fundamental Baptist Christian Apologetics Ministry are C-O-W-A-R-D-S.  Why?  We challenge them to a debate and they run away."  However they fail to see that one thing- they were pursuing their opponents in every evil way possible like how they would crack through various social networks and resources to crush their opponents which is NOT ethical.  It's only normal for a Christian to flee from trouble when they are being pursued like in the risk of them being exposed open for persecution.  

The fear is only a temporary issue and here's one thing we have to know about lions- they DO NOT immediately attack their prey, they hide in the grass before they attack.  Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished."  This does not mean he is hiding himself for good, he hides himself from ANY possible evil that would strike him.  That means they hide in the Rock, that is Jesus Christ for protection therefore giving them the boldness of a lion- only by God's grace because they are confident in the Rock that never fails.  Then when God gave these men rest, they soon are ready to face their pursuers when God has given them the boldness to face them.

And here's an interesting note- cowards just appear to be bold when their opponents shirk as they pursue them while lying they are not doing so.  However, they flee even before anybody can pursue them like if they do some secret sins that people are afraid of finding out like sex scandals, watching pornography and the like- they slowly shrink away even when nobody has yet to discover it.  It's just like how many Catholic faith defenders will suddenly try to hide the issues that's going on- that's fleeing!
