Never Mind the Conspiracy Theories

It's a common issue today that Christians get caught in conspiracy theories and are swayed to and fro by it rather than focusing on the Word of God. First it's time to define the conspiracy theory- it is a fringe theory (that is a collection of ideas that have very little or no evidence) which explains a historical to a day to day account as a result of a secret plot by exceptionally powerful and cunning conspirators however having little or no evidence. It is nothing more than a series of reversion or pseudohistory. A conspiracy theory can go as far as to simply mark anyone as such and such just because they disagree with the one who makes up the theories. Also, it can go as far as to become nothing more than a series of half-truths. Plus conspiracy theorists are NOTHING more than PARANOIDS who want your attention and money!

So some examples? Here are some conspiracy theorists and an example of their theories:

Please not that this ministry WILL NOT give out the links of these people as we don't want to give them any more referring URLs than they already have in the Internet thus giving them more traffic. Pastor Mike Stahl was right in saying that it's best not to give them any more soap boxes than they already have.

  • Roman Catholics - The Jesuits have simply rewritten what was already verified as truth in the history books with their own lies like how the Vatican had nothing to do with the grave abuses against the Spanish territories' people, just putting all the blame on the Spaniards as to escape the blame. After all, the coming out of the truth caused the crisis of faith in Catholicism.
  • The Seventh Day Adventists - This group has been known for trying to affiliate the Sunday worship truth as a Vatican lie when it isn't. They are usually more focused on keeping an eye on the Vatican than the Bible. To suit their needs, many of their members resolve to affiliating great men of God to be SDAs and anybody who teaches Sunday worship to be automatically affiliated with the Vatican. Only if they read their Bible correctly, the New Testament Church worships on a Sunday. It's nothing more than guilt by association fallacy! Perhaps one of the most notorious stuff that this cult has done is to write anti-Catholic literature that is not substantiated on truth which also smears GOOD CHRISTIAN MEN of what they are not.
  • Pentecostals - The movement has been more problematic than a help to unmasking the Vatican's sinister nature with exaggerated claims and like the Seventh Day Adventists, have labeled certain good Christian men who expose the Vatican to be "secret Jesuits". In fact, one of the biggest Pentecostal churches in America have exaggerated the power of the Jesuit order to just almost about everything. Okay there's no denial that the Jesuits are a powerful influence (but today, many of them are already old men considering that the new "Black Pope" Adolfo Nicholas was in his late 70s when he was inaugurated) as evidenced by former Jesuits who left the system and followed Jesus. However to blame the Jesuits for just about everything is denying the fact that there are still OTHER powers and principalities in the world aside from the Vatican who are responsible for other events. It's no surprise that many Pentecostal pastors while hypocritically teaching salvation by works and conditional security are guilty of crimes like money laundering, swindling and not to mention sexual crimes like pedophilia and harassment. They are no better than the priests they accuse of being evil.
  • Atheists - There are atheist writers who actually try to debunk anything they think is Christianity. Many of these writers are just plain sick with their way of writing. They spend their time with their insulting of not only credible Christian writers by Jack T. Chick but also just everybody who believes that God exists lumping the Christian with the non-Christian in the same party. They're a nuisance also to Seventh Day Adventist and Pentecostal conspiracy theorists aside from the Catholic conspiracy theorists.
  • Fake Baptist movements - Though claiming to be fundamental Baptists, they are nothing more than dangerous works of fiction. These movements in their forums write down exaggerations of the current evils of the world. For example, it's obvious that rock music may be harmful to one's health but it definitely cannot get a young girl pregnant my merely listening to it as they claim. That is a conspiracy theory that puts real Baptists to shame.
  • Covert Zionist agents - They are another dangerous bunch. They are Jews. The Zionists are also responsible for writing up information with very little evidence and filled with a LOT of logical fallacies. Though they be against Roman Catholicism but they also like the SDAs, falsely labeling people to be so and so without much of real evidence. It's all about making money and maligning people.

I would also like to add that conspiracy theories are usually having little or no evidence like Apple Inc. and the Proctor and Gamble Cropration are linked to the Church of Satan, or let's just even add this and that. They make people increasingly paranoid and afraid of everything. Also, the tend to produce MUCH wrong information like accusing credible Christian men as Jesuit operatives at best. I used to read conspiracy theory sites and update on them, now I do not. For one good reason- these sites are usually GARBAGE. As I would have it, I would do some reports on the Vatican based on current events, not made-up assumptions or for unearthed facts, I would quote a reliable source like a former Roman Catholic priest than just some random fraudster who accuses everyone. In my case DON'T MIND everything the Vatican is doing, Bible has to come first. I would focus on preaching to lost people rather than revealing some conspiracy theories. Plus not everything has a conspiracy like the poisoning of local people by random, no conspiracy was in it. Conspiracy theorists are a waste of time nor do I endorse them. That's why I want to avoid most IFB movements that get too deep into conspiracies!

So what's the real advice to this? 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 says, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." That's right. Christians should not be spending time worrying about them much less buying them, Christians if they should expose the truth, it must be verifiable - with REAL evidence. As said, ALWAYS stick wiith the truth. Do these people need further exposing? Funny these clowns are already exposing themselves with their FALSE DOCTRINE!
