Is Melchizedek Really the Lord Jesus Christ?

One of the greatest mysteries of Scripture is to who Melchizedek is.  One can argue that he was "only human" yet the Scriptures do suggest that this person, was no ordinary person.  In Genesis 14:18-20 we learn that Melchizedek had the attributes of being King of Salem which means "King of Peace" and the priest of the Most High God while his name means "King of Righteousness".  Hebrews 7:2 further verifies that Melchizedek was the "King of Peace".  Salem or peace, Jesus is in fact the Prince of Peace.  Again, while it seems contradictory but no human being can be called the King of Peace.  Apparently, Salem was no earthly kingdom but rather, a prefigurement of the millenial reign of Jesus.  Such titles could not go simply to basic human beings because it would be blasphemy.  The Bible declares that there is nobody righteous, no not one (Romans 3:10) to which the Apostle Paul quotes Psalm 14:2.  That is to state that Melchizedek cannot be just any normal human being either.  However this was also argued by some of the best Bible scholars that he was merely a type of Christ but I think not.  Matthew Henry, John Gill, Charles Spurgeon, John Macarthur, Vernon McGee hold a different opinion from mine but I personally think this man could actually be a pre-incarnate Christ.

So some may argue that he was just another ruler but I started to run across this verse in Hebrews 7:3 that say that he was "without father, without mother, without beginning and without end."  That is, a natural person cannot exist without a natural father and a natural mother or without a genealogy.  That could not be just a normal person, he has to be somebody special.  This cannot be just a loss of records.  It is also absurd to declare any natural human being without parents, without genealogy and being eternal.  No it's just highly impossible to do so.  He was without beginning and without end, that means he is eternal.  Jesus declared that He was the Alpha and the Omega in Revelation 1:8 and 22:13, which can also be linked to Isaiah 41, 44:6 and 48:12.  That is, Jesus declares the beginning and the end, only a person without natural lineage can declare it to be so.  Jesus in His nature as God has no genealogy, while in His humanity He had but that was soon ended when His earthly ministry ended.  However according to some preachers like Macarthur, McGee, Gill and Henry they have offered their opinion saying it was more of a  figure of speech than it is the person having no literal father or mother.

Now what does it mean to be the priest of the Most High God?  Hebrews 6:19-20 says that Jesus became the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.  Again this ties up that although it appears they are both separate entities, one cannot deny that divinity was attributed to this special king.  Jesus is our Great High Priest, God the Father had not yet ordained an earthly priesthood at that time.  Then that means he could not be God the Father nor God the Holy Spirit but he can only be God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!  Also there cannot be two high priests- there can only be one.  That office is like a presidency, there is only one president. In the case of high priest, there can only be one high priest or head priest, not two or otherwise it would become a two-headed monstrosity.  But rather, seeing that Jesus is the High Priest and so is Melchizedek can drive to the conclusion that they are both One and the Same, though this is merely my interpretation.
