A Very Gross Misrepresentation of Sola Fide and Eternal Security

My brother-in-Christ Bro. Gerry has presented various tactics that have been used in his latest blog. I think the illustrations he has lately put on his blog may just be another desperate attempt to counter Chick Publications with various offensive cartoons designed to inspire Roman Catholics and annoy the fundamentalist Christians! Now for one cartoon where Roman Catholics and anti-Romanist cults would gladly use against me and misrepresent me and other true Christians:

I've had my issues with not only with how works salvation groups have severely misrepresented the doctrine of eternal security but how the Antinomians have also created the doctrine that "I am saved then I am free from the obligation of the Law, I can sin all I want." which has caused me to be labeled as an Antinomian teaching a license to sin. This cartoon is no better than Evangelical Outreach's Dan Corner and his cartoons - I won't spend my time on him as he's a total waste of time. He's just a sore loser who then says that so and so has chickened out after refusing to debate with him. Plus, I would really give Paul Washer a two thumbs up for refusing to debate with such an arrogant fool whose presence is really very annoying and is better left alone.

Thinking about it, the doctrine of Lordship salvation does not teach works salvation, rather it verifies what eternal security is really about and here are some quotes worth thinking about:
What it is, is a sad admission to the amount of confidence we have in the power of our message and in the keeping power of God.If God has saved them, God will keep them. If they’re born of God, they’ll never die. If He’s begun a good work in them, He’ll complete it to that Day. If He is the author of their faith, He’ll be the finisher of their faith. He’s able to save to the uttermost them that come to God by Him. He’s able to keep them from falling and to present them faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Jesus said no one will pluck you from my Father’s hand." (Hell's Best Kept Secret audio tape)- Ray Comfort
PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS. Those whom God has accepted in the Beloved, and sanctified by His Spirit, will never totally nor finally fall away from the state of grace, but shall certainly persevere to the end; and though they may fall, through neglect and temptation, into sin, whereby they grieve the Spirit, impair their graces and comforts, bring reproach on the Church, and temporal judgments on themselves, yet they shall be renewed again unto repentance, and be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation.- Paul Washer

In fact, the whole misrepresentation is so gross to be honest, they have misrepresented the Christian truth in Philippians 1:6-7 and 1 John 2:19 that what God has begun in the Christian, He will certainly finish.it because He is God and He finishes what He starts! Romans 11:22 does not teach losing salvation, rather it will verify thereof who's the true convert and who's the false - 1 John 2:19 keeps verifying to whoever was never saved to start with. The hyper-lordship crowd is when conditional security does jump in and they also deceitfully misquote preachers like Washer and Macarthur to teach conditional security.

In fact, the stand of the doctrine of Sola Fide is this,"We are saved by faith alone but it is never by a faith that is alone. True faith results to works, sham faith does not result to works."
