The Reformation and October 31

Here's a speculative view of why the Reformation happened on October 31 of all dates on 1517. Looking at the Roman Catholic calendar, October 31 is merely close to November 2 to which is All Soul's Day and people were purchasing indulgences for their deceased loved ones hoping they would enter the bliss of Heaven and also for forgiveness of sins.

The burning of the indulgences commenced with Martin Luther's protest hence the term "Protestant"... just when November 1 or All Saints' Day November 2 or All Soul's Day was around the corner. Do those Roman Catholics even realize in Hebrews 9:27 that after a man dies, they are immediately passed on to judgment? They condemn themselves whenever they claim to believe that verse and they are still praying for the dead. He also burned them down to show that salvation is a free gift and never for sale. Even after how many masses, the time will always be that there is not one speck of hope any lost sinner will ever escape Hell, he or she will have to remain there forever!

What a way to ruin Halloween. Martin Luther posted the 95 Theses in German at the wall of Wittenburg which sparked a revival in Christianity. What a way to ruin an occult day! Well just my thought, it would certainly ruin a Halloween celebration when a copy of Martin Luther's 95 Theses translated in the local language were posted for all to read! Yup passing out Gospel tracts from Chick Publications about Halloween is sure to ruin what Satanists believe is Satan's birthday!
