Christians Should Rebuke Errors With AUTHORITY!

It's so often more times than not that correction really is sharp.  Titus 1:13 which is in context of what the Christian pastor is, he must rebuke errors sharply.  When we think about it, going back to verse 11 we read that false preachers must have their mouths stopped because they subvert whole houses, teaching things that they ought out to for the sake of money.  Honestly, I see that a lot on TV.  The TBN channel in order to gain its filthy wealth has done a lot of compromise, it's full of unsaved heretics teaching the prosperity gospel, positive psychology, watered down messages and so on in order for the sake of money.  In fact, it's no wonder why Joel Osteen's books sell like hotcakes to Roman Catholics while a decent book written by sound teachers don't click with them.  It just happened so that after somebody read some of John Macarthur's book "Fool's Gold" I wasn't surprised that he tore the book like crazy and didn't care it wasn't his.  I used to watch TBN UNTIL I realized all these stuff- it was teaching a truckload of heresy and I have no reason why I should even support that network.  These preachers speak according to the viewpoint of worldliness than God's viewpoint (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

So what's important about rebuking false teachers and heresy?  First, I'd like to say I rebuke the heresy which in turn rebukes those who uphold them without having to single them out, singling people out can turn into bad theology.  Christians are supposed to judge actions, not persons.  They are in no position to be the final judge of people, God is the judge for these false preachers who mishandles God's Word (taking it out of context) to defend their heresy or for their own profit.  These people are teaching what should not be taught like watered down preaching, easy believism (which teaches that a saved person can live like the rest of the world giving room for false conversions), salvation by works which in turn teaches conditional security which denies God's full saving power making man overall responsible for his salvation rather than God's work being in man that changes their lives, I would also like to emphasize that the Bible is the only book with God's authority Christians need to combat heresy, not some religious council that takes the Bible out of context in its interpretation.  One good example is how the late Billy Sunday was also very much hated as a Presbyterian pastor because he was always rebuking errors like the saloon which today is now the disco house and various drinking stations because it was a rebuke of error.  Errors must be rebuked because they are destroying people.

So they say, "What about love one another?"  Friends, they always take the Bible out of context.  We need to take the Bible IN CONTEXT to understand it.  In 1 Corinthians 13:6 we read that love does not rejoice in wrong but in the truth.  As said you can always rebuke without loving but you can never love without rebuking.  If you love a person, you rebuke them out of concern even if it means offending them.  In fact, this blog ministry was created not in order to be hateful or spite people but to rebuke their heresies because I love people.  I don't want people to go to Hell when they die so I really HAVE to preach the Gospel as it should be preached.  I don't want to water down the message just because I am aiming to be seeker friendly. Seeing people in idolatry, darkness, sin... if these people aren't preached about sin, I doubt it they will even know the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.  In fact, Ray Comfort's preaching using the Law is not flawed, he's rebuking errors sharply by showing people they are sinners and in need of the Savior.  If you love people, you rebuke them out of love, out of concern... you don't hide secrets.  It may be hard to accept you are wrong but still, error must be rebuked with authority.
