The Church DID NOT and DOES NOT Apostasize!

Crooked so-called "last messengers" have claimed, "The Church has apostasized and we have come to save it from apostasy!" then they misquote several verses. Since the INC is having its 100th anniversary to which they are centuries late, the Church founded by Jesus Christ has been around much longer than the doctrine of Felix Manalo. But looking at the Bible which they so misquote, can the Church apostasize? The answer is no and I would like to discuss why the Church DOES NOT apostasize! This also goes for Mormons, Watchtower members and other cults whose founders claim the Church apostasized and that they came to restore it!

Remembering the words of Jesus in Matthew 16:18 to Peter, "That thou art Peter and upon this Rock I will build my Church and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." As said, the Rock is Jesus Christ. Peter was the first pastor, Jesus told him that upon that Rock, the Church will be built. Even the Catholic translations prove Peter was not the Rock, he was pointed to the Rock upon which the Church is built upon it and it cannot apostasize. When Jesus said that the Gates of Hell CANNOT prevail against the Church, He means it! And if the Gates of Hell cannot prevail against the Church, it is because Christ is the Rock! Since Christ is the foundation of the Church, then the Gates of Hell cannot prevail against it. 1 Corinthians 10:4 calls Christ the Rock!

Now let's take a look at true and false conversions. So they say when the people left the Church, it was proof that the Church apostasized. But the real answer is in 1 John 2:19- false members leave, true members of the Church remain. The Church of Jesus Christ is built upon Christ, it is sure foundation. He is the sure Cornerstone! Also Christ is the Head of the Church, the Church is His Body! How can the Body of Christ even apostasize when Jesus said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." in Hebrews 13:5 or John 6:37, "To Him that cometh unto me I shall no wise cast out." As said, either you are a true convert or a false. Those in Christ are firmly in Christ, those who are just pretending to be in Christ will soon manifest by their sinful leaving and eventually falling away. There are apostate churches but they are not part of the Church, the Body of Christ.

Another reason why the cuckoo bird cultists think the Church has apostasized is because of the existence of Roman Catholicism. One the Roman Catholic institution is NOT Christian. It claims to be of Christ but the Pope is an imposter. How can a mere man claim to be a visible head of the Church? No, Christ is the only Head. If the Pope was another head, it would be a two-headed monstrosity at worst. When Martin Luther tried to reform Rome, he found out he could not stay any longer and left. Charles Spurgeon declared that Roman Catholicism will never be reconcilable with Biblical Christianity. Looking at it, in spite of the existence of Roman Catholicism, pre-Reformation Christian groups like the Baptists, Mennonites and Waldenses were already around evangelizing and increasing the flock of Jesus, long before Martin Luther published the Bible from Latin to German for the German people.

If the Church did apostasize, then why are there revivals in the middle in the centuries that these cuckoo cultists claim that nobody got saved? John Gill was preaching, John Knox had the Presbyterian movement going on, the King James Bible came to be in 1611, William Tyndale translated the Bible during the Reformation, John Wesley's Methodist movement was bringing revival to England, John Calvin had Geneva burning, Martin Luther ended the Dark Ages, John Huss before Luther brought revival even in the Dark Ages, Charles Spurgeon brought revival to England, etc.? Obviously the Church was moving mightily and was not silent. If it were silent, I wonder where would ALL the revivals be? NONE!

In truth those who claimed that the Church apostasized are apostates themselves. They claim to be Christians but they are not, teaching plenty of unbiblical nonsense, anti-Christs that usurp Christ's place like the Pope does in Rome.
