Denmark's Desire To Ban Currency Is Not Yet The Mark of the Beast
What I can consider is a real problem behind people today is that, even some of the most sound preachers when it comes to soteriology can be so erroneous and sensationalist when it comes to Biblical prophecy. I remembered how when various wholesale stores popped out left and right like S & R which requires membership before you can buy, some wackos were already shouting, "THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS HERE!" and they might be the same group who shouted, "Rapture will hit on December 21, 2012. Be ready to meet God! After that, it will be the start of the Tribulation Period!" Some people didn't want to apply for social security, a credit card or consider a membership shopping in fear of their damnation. I remembered how some people I knew said, "Go ahead and become a member of those wholesale stores, don't blame us if the Mark of the Beast gets you and you go to Hell! As for me, I am staying away from doing my groceries in S & R!" What wasn't too surprising is that, a lot of people I heard who said that to be were Roman Catholics who just refuse to take the Bible in context.
I am aware of Denmark's desire to abolish cash by 2016 but I don't know if it will succeed. For one, God has His ways... He has disallowed certain people from conquering the world but He will allow the Antichrist to rule the world during the Tribulation so honestly, God's will for the matter is yet to be revealed. Remember that it's still a proposal and Denmark is NOT part of Biblical prophecy, the Bible is SILENT about Denmark compared it is active about Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome as the four kingdoms towards the end of the world. I would want to really enlighten people on what the Mark of the Beast is about based on Revelation without any crooked interpretations. As any good expositor of the Scriptures would say, "PLEASE PREACH IN COMPLETE CONTEXT!"
Revelation 13:16-18 is one of the most misquoted passages of the Bible whenever some development happens. Now I believe that Denmark's proposal is certainly a sign of the times but it's not yet the Mark of the Beast. When you read a verse, you must take it in context and remember, the mark of the Beast is mentioned EIGHT TIMES in Revelation namely 14:9, 14:11, 15:2, 16:2, 19:20 and 20:4 which we read that six out of eight of the verses mention WORSHIP is associated with the Mark of the Beast. Right now, anybody who has a biochip can still be saved but not anyone who receives the Mark of the Beast during the Tribulation Period. Remember the Mark of the Beast DOES NOT come with your credit card, biochip implant, electronic gadgets, membership shopping, electronic devices, etc. but rather it ONLY will appear in the Tribulation period and the purpose is WORSHIP.
If you think of misquoting Revelation 13:16-18 again, let's take it INTO CONTEXT before they end up getting misquoted all over again. If you read the chapter, it's about the Antichrist and the False Prophet and how things unfold during the Tribulation. Right now, I am not sure if Pope Francis the first Jesuit Pope would be a forerunner to the False Prophet or he is the False Prophet to be, his age almost guarantees that he won't be the False Prophet. The whole context of the chapter is that remember, first the Antichrist appears and he receives worship. The False Prophet appears next and causes the people to WORSHIP the Antichrist. Then the mark is issued out which suggests that the Mark of the Beast is not yet released UNTIL the Antichrist appears. No man will receive it until the Tribulation Period - that is anybody with a biochip right now can still be saved compared to those who will follow the Antichrist in Tribulation.
