The Foolishness of Waiting for Christ's Return Without Preaching the Gospel to the Lost
It's no secret that the world is in terrible times and chances are they're not going to get better. The world is now a huge insane den of iniquity. Signs of the times have shown up such as the rampant immorality growing left and right.
Aren't these signs that you just wish that the Lord Jesus Christ will come back as soon as possible? Unfortunately, there's still one overlooked factor at people who wait for Christ's return. This overlooked factor is namely the preaching of the Gospel.
Soulwinning is part of the signs of the end times. Jesus already mentioned it that until the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached first then the end will not come. The Church is given its task to win souls to Jesus Christ. Many great Christian preachers had this passion to win souls in fulfilling the Great Commission as they were looking forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to claim the Church.
You can know for sure Jesus is coming again soon not only because of the growing immorality but also because of growing soulwinning efforts. There is growing soulwinning activities in the midst of a worsening world. Churches today should be concerned in their role as part of the Church in preaching the Gospel and warning others about the upcoming judgment that's going to hit sinners. It's time to go out there and preach the Gospel, reach others for Christ and continue working to help fulfill the Great Commission to cover the world with the Gospel.
As a preacher would say, "Do you want Jesus to come soon? Then preach the Gospel first!"
