How Do You Sell Your Soul to Satan?

Ever heard of the statement of selling your soul to the Devil? Ever heard of people who think that they don't need Jesus because they never sold their soul to Satan? Well, I guess such people have the popular misconception and myth that you can sell your soul to Satan and that once he owns you - there's no backing out. But it's time to really see how you can sell your soul to Satan.

How do you sell your soul to Satan? No need for him to appear promising fame and fortune in exchange for your soul. There's one damning truth with how to sell your soul to Satan - all you need to do is commit just one sin at the moment you enter the age of accountability. James 2:10-11 says that if you've committed even at least one sin - you have broken the standard of the whole Law of God. Romans 3:10-19 shows how no one is righteous and no not one - the truth is that all are guilty before God because the Law is impossible to keep. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 shows that the unrighteous shall not inherit God's Kingdom. It's a very damning truth that lost sinners are in fact owned by Satan himself.

Okay, some occult groups do have this contract. I've heard some of them even require people to sign it in their blood. But here's the ugly truth - nobody needed to enter into Satanism to be owned by Satan. Do you want to know how people are owned by Satan without a contract that binds their soul to Satan? It's all because everyone who's not in Christ already belongs to Satan. In short, unsaved people can't even sell their souls to Satan because he already owns them to start with! The initiation where you had to break the handles of an inverted cross wasn't even needed. All those are but extra rituals to further confirm a person is lost in sin. Yet, not all people lost in sin are into Satanism. After all, there is the sweet lie that all religions have good in them except Satanism. Such a lie is unfortunately sending people to Hell together with Satanists out there!

So how can you "sell your soul" to Satan for fame and fortune? There's the story of the rich young ruler. No, he didn't make a literal deal with Satan by signing said contract in blood. Instead, it's all about how people refuse to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because of their love for money. They are so dressed up in their pride or trusting in riches. There's always the knowledge of what receiving salvation will do. Not everyone receives Christ without consciously counting the entire cost. However, nobody can be saved and not end up counting the cost in the long run as many end up not counting much of the cost before salvation yet end up standing firm to pay the cost as a result of true salvation. Getting saved may also mean losing your friends, family, fame and fortune! Many would choose the temporal over the eternal. In a sense, you sell your soul to Satan for fame and fortune when you choose the world's riches over Jesus' offer for eternal life. Others continue to reject Christ because they love their sin while ironically believing that their salvation is by works!

But there's good news for those who have supposedly "sold their souls" to Satan. The contract made with the Church of Satan can be declared null and void for all eternity. Satan who holds the souls of everyone who isn't saved is but a created being. He's not omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Hebrews 2:14 says that Jesus' death on the cross defeated Satan himself. That means any contract with the Devil signed in blood can be voided forever by the precious blood of Jesus! The contract signed with blood was but human blood. Jesus' blood can forever void the contract with the Devil because he's but a defeated enemy. The Devil owns who are not in Jesus. The redeemed in Jesus were bought away from Satan - their contract with Satan is over and God's contract through His Son is eternal, irrevocable and life-changing!
