The Stupidity of Comparing Pro-Life People to Adolf Hitler
It was a few days ago and I realized that according to Lifesite News - feminist icon Gloria Steinem foolishly compares pro-lifers to Adolf Hitler. Here is the nonsense that she said:
To Steinem, a woman’s ability to abort her unborn baby is at the core of freedom and any opposition to abortion on demand is “patriarchy.” According to the interview, “… Steinem said Americans have yet to realize that controlling reproduction is the top priority of any oppressive government, and the very definition of the patriarchy.”
“It isn’t the side issue, it’s the basic issue. In circular, egalitarian cultures, women can decide the fate of their own bodies. If we did not have wombs, we’d be fine,” Steinem said.
“The definition of patriarchy is controlling reproduction, made way worse by racism, because then you really have to control reproduction to keep races separate, or caste, in India. This is the first step, whether it’s Brazil or India or Hitler’s Germany,” Steinem said.
She claimed that Hitler’s first move as leader of Nazi Germany was to shut down all the family planning clinics and prohibit abortions.
This has me really angry over her rather faulty. Just how are pro-lifers well, Hitler-like? What's the first word that comes into your head when Hitler is mentioned? I would say that the first word you might want to mention is genocide or the Holocaust. Hitler can't be pro-life for the reason that he murdered millions of innocent Jews for whatever sinful reasons he had. Hitler was into the sin of eugenics or selectively getting rid of those he deemed undesirable. Not even Jewish babies were spared from Hitler's madness when he tried to succeed where Haman and Antiochus Epiphanes failed.
Feminists just love to blame men and avoid responsibility for their misdoing. They cry out women's rights but defend the homewreckers over homemakers. Ironically, some of them would rather defend men pretending to be women than women themselves. Others would play the victim when a man finally fights back. Do they even ignore that a woman can still go to jail for assaulting a man? One of the biggest issues is an unwanted pregnancy. True, some women do get pregnant out of rape. However, a lot of women today get pregnant out of willful desecration of their bodies. Once a woman consents to any form of immoral sex with a man then she is also just as responsible for the consequences.
Fortunately, God is still offering forgiveness through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. There are already women who regret their abortion and abortion doctors who have given up on their sinful profession.
