Solomon became the wisest king Israel ever had yet he made a lot of foolish decisions. Even before his dream at Gibeon - he already made the mistake of marrying a pagan princess from Egypt. We know Egypt is an ungodly nation and God already warned not to make such ill alliances. Also, Deuteronomy 17:17 warns that a king must not take multiple wives or greatly enrich himself. We read of how David had become such a successful king that he had grown overconfident. 2 Samuel 11 details for us the ugly truth of David's self-confidence. Like it or not, there are women who suffer from what I call the "Herodias Syndrome".  In the Scriptures, we read Herodias' account as a very wicked woman who was previously married to Herod Philip but eloped with her brother-in-law, Herod Antipas and ran off with her daughter Salome under her custody in a live-in relationship.  What made this an entire public scandal was that Herod Antipas was also married, left his wife for a live-in relationship with his sister-in-law.  Now today, there are also women who are similar to Herodias.  This is a sad fact that feminism repeats the actions of wicked women like Delilah, Jezebel, Athaliah and also Herodias.  Compared to Bathsheba who repented of her adultery, these women can be habitually adulterous proving they aren't Christians if they would profess they are.  No true Christian even if they sin, can ever remain in an indefinite state of carnality. When God's covenant is broken, expect only more consequences of sin rather than the daily hardship one encounters in life.  It just amazes me to think just how many people can be very ungrateful to their spouses.  For example, a man has an argument with his spouse later dumps her for another woman or the gender roles can be reversed. I just thought of how today's society has gone into several wrong issues going on like "Money comes first." and "Men can treat women as badly as they can." Now here's the issue today, we have the issue of marital infidelity which has destroyed today's society. So here we have women who become mistresses for the sake of money . I could hardly understand why men themselves while their wives are proper with them would rather choose to go out with bad girls. I've heard of various stories from various people who told me of how the female paramours are most of the time- they hardly care about their boyfriends and all they want is the money. Again, 1 Timothy 6:10 says that the love of money is the ROOT of all evil. So why do these women waste their dignity and get themselves pregnant? Simple. I would like to do this rather intensive study on why the families of today are ruined. I would like to give a wake-up call to why our families are being ruined. It's a huge wake-up call I believe should be a real blast to the extremes of modernism. Please note that I DO NOT endorse the abusiveness of male chauvinism either. The issue today is that many synonyms are treated like antonyms. Two words that get played as such also are divorce and annulment? Is there a difference?
