What's Wrong with Homosexuality?

A small introduction. Homo means "the same" and when one is a homosexual, it means they are doing it with the same sex. People think it's just okay BUT here's what- to God it is a sin. I won't be posting much Old Testament verses because people tend to attack me by saying, "Oh it's Old Testament." Now we'll focus on WHAT the New Testament has to say about homosexuality as well as the ten commandments.

Homosexuality is breaking the 9th commandment which is thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Homosexuals lie to everyone they are the opposite sex or can be the opposite sex and that God approves of homosexuality when He doesn't and that is still LYING. It is perverting what God has ordained that it is a man and a woman that comes together NOT a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

People also try to justify homosexuality by saying it is genetic when there is NO such thing. I have examined some atheist trash as of before where some of its leading scientists actually waste their years of studying biological science. One faulty explanation of the gay gene is that it was merely transmitted by going together. What the? How can genes be transmitted by mere HOLDING? Diseases are but NOT genes. Holding to a genius does not make me a genius. There is a lot of logical fallacy behind it. Also how can there be a homosexual gene if homosexual couples DO NOT reproduce.

The Bible has this to say about homosexuality in Romans 1:26-27, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the nature use into that which is AGAINST NATURE: and likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust toward another; men with men working that which unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.". Verse 28 should at least hit a cord, "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to to those things which are not convenient;". Wow. Talk about crazy.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 it says, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor EFFEMINATE, no abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God.". Like it or not God condemns homosexuality the same with EVERY other sin. James 2:10 says, "For whosoever shall keep the whole Law yet offend at one point, He is guilty of all." You can't say homosexuals are not lawbreakers because you are NOT GOD!

So what consequences do await? Here are they:

The downfall of family life- God meant the family to be a union between one man and one woman meeting the prerequisites of being available for each other in marriage and NOT breaching the incest chart in Leviticus 18. Matthew 19:4-5 says, "And He answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that He which made them at the beginning made them MALE AND FEMALE? And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they twain shall be one flesh?".

The spread of STDs also increases as well- Aside from prostitution and multiple heterosexual sex partners, homosexuality is another contributor of AIDS. Don't believe me? Do a Google search on it. I've read how several priests of the Roman Catholic Church have died of AIDS and they were homosexual. In fact, I ran across this article as well: AIDS Rate 50 Times Higher in Homosexual Men. Although it is a secular site but I felt like that should at least show you I'm not making things up!

Further spread of false religion- Yes how true. Ever since homosexuality boosted up, the problem of false religion has been spreading. Some homosexuals have found atheism to be a comforting way to escape moral obligation from God. Other homosexuals embraced Catholicism because the Catholic priesthood has become a convenient hiding place and a haven where they can get altar boys. Other cults are boosted also because of homosexuality.

Rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ- Yup this is where it goes. The very fact that the Law must be presented and that sin is to be dealt with in preaching salvation, homosexuals tend to get violent whenever a fiery sermon against homosexuality is mentioned. Pastor Jack Hyles' sermons against homosexuality are rarely applauded, it's usually hated. John 3:19-20 says, "And this is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh unto the light lest his deeds be reproved."

How true. People who love sin and refuse to turn from them will naturally REJECT the Savior. People who refuse to repent of their sins will refuse to repent of their unbelief. Why? It can all boil down to this- the Lord Jesus Christ's saving power does more than just save, His Lordship is present upon the lives of EVERY believer and His grace irresistible towards those who are His resulting to changed lives. Sinful people witness the change of character like how Pastor William Murray's lifestyle was changed from a sin-loving atheist to a sin-hating Christian. They refuse to depart from evil so they naturally will reject the free gift of salvation which will make them turn away from evil by the grace of God (Titus 2:11-15). Salvation is easy but these guys make it hard for themselves because they refuse to accept the fact they're GUILTY and they need Jesus!
