Do People Who Pray for the Eternal Repose of the Dead REALIZE Salvation is Intensely Personal?

I remembered while I was still a Roman Catholic I remembered asking a question like, "What about prayers for the dead?  Why do we have to need in numbers?"  I would be answered because the more people are praying for the soul of a certain person, the more chances they will enter Heaven and it's done year after year AFTER YEAR which really they say, "Well the soul of the person is suffering so we need more prayers so the person can enter Heaven." and it usually goes on and on.  Seldom some Roman Catholic apologists deny that anybody in Purgatory can go to Hell while others do.  So what's it going to be?  Now it's time to realize that people who are praying for the eternal repose of the souls of the departed are actually ignoring the very basic fact of salvation- salvation is INTENSELY PERSONAL.  Nobody gets saved because another gets saved.  No, it's obvious.  If you read the Bible you'll realize how salvation is individual, never because one is saved another gets saved.  I can go ahead and attend a church but as said, I CANNOT get saved unless I myself surrender myself to Jesus Christ as a guilty sinner in need of salvation.

The illustration of Jesus is clear in Matthew 7:13-14 that the way to life is narrow.  Every description that was given is that it's narrow as a turnstile.  The narrow road only allows ONE PERSON at a time... nobody gets saved in groups.  If you think about it, every unbeliever has been damned in the first place.  In Romans 10:13 it says, "For whosoever (singular) shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."  It's not by groups, people can get saved together but only because each one of them received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The problem with Purgatory doctrine also is that it really somewhat annihilates the notion that salvation is 100% personal because they are praying for the eternal repose of the soul of the deceased.  If a person needed more Masses from loved ones and friends, so on and so forth to enter Heaven, then that salvation is no longer personal but DEPENDENT upon the prayers of others.  And also, no matter how many people will offer Masses and even go from one Roman Catholic parish after the other, the person is already in judgment (Hebrews 9:27) either in Heaven or Hell.  Purgatory is but a huge lie that people try to say, "Well I'll have my chance with God if I receive enough graces." but no, none.  In fact the truth is that even with all the masses said, there is not one speck of hope that any lost sinner will ever escape Hell, that person must remain there forever.  When they die without Christ, they are already sent to Hell- there is NO alternative.
