The Bitter Irony of Atheism
Atheism is in fact a very ironic, self-contradicting religion. According to atheists they have no religion but then why are they listed as atheists in their religion? In fact, the more I think about how ironic atheism is, the more Psalm 14:1 is proven right that the fool says in his heart that there is no God. Well like it or not, they can hate pastors like Ray Comfort and the late D. James Kennedy for preaching the truth. I'm not surprised at how many videos on Youtube make fun of Ray Comfort demonstrating life can't be an accident. Romans 1:21 says, "Because that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened." See the atheist is aware there is a God but believes there is no God. Isn't that very contradictory? Indeed it is.
Now to examine some of these bizarre ironies of atheism:
1.) Atheists claim there is no God yet I frequently hear them say how cruel God is and blame Him for everything that happens.
I remembered running to many well-known atheist writers who call God a hateful creature who is fickle and vile. In one example, I remembered how a public school student argued with the professor concerning the existence of God. Later the professor was forced to admit he did believe God exists but it was mere superficial belief when he said, "Well if God is so good why are these disasters happening and killing people?" They foolish blame God for not stopping the hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. from happening. They blame God for diseases and everything. Yet ironically, they also claim that such disasters bring evolution forward to prove the survival of the fittest. Shouldn't they be thankful instead of these things they blame God for, for the fact it supposedly brings evolution?
Many times the atheists mention incidents like Noah's ark as a story of God's cruelty followed by the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the conquest of Jericho. I am not surprised at that especially many atheists are pro-homosexuals when they called God cruel for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of sexual immorality (such as the vile lesbian hostess Ellen Degenerate who is legally "married" to a woman). What they fail to see is that these were acts of God's judgment upon the wicked. To be honest, if they don't believe that God exists then why blame God for all the trouble? Why call God a cruel being who inflicts pain and torture and blame Him for the bad stuff? In fact, atheists like Madalyn Murray also quoted how much she hated God, Margaret Sanger also quoted how much she hated God and many more atheists claim they really hate God with a passion! Even atheist dictator Joseph Stalin died shaking his fist at God too.
2.) They claim they have no religion but they do.
Pastor Vernon McGee wrote of this matter saying, "They did not give Him (God) His rightful place and man became self-sufficient. In our day man has made the announcement that God is dead. In the beginning the human family did not suggest that God was dead, they simply turned their backs upon Him and made man their God."
To comment on this, I have seen how atheist nations end up worshiping their leaders as if they were God. In China, Maoism became the worship of the late dictator Mao Zedong. In Cambodia for a time Pol Pot became their god. In North Korea, the Kim Dynasty is worshiped and the late Kim Jung Il was revered as if he were a god. In fact, in Russia, Karl Marx hated God with a passion because he really wanted to be God. Atheists who may not be living in Communist countries may also have their religion like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings or whatever stupid religions they can have. In fact, some of them may even be into celebrity worship as well to replace God with something else in their lives.
The problem of atheism is that they wish God doesn't exist but they sure know He exists but refuse to accept it!
3.) The morality question. Richard Dawkins who for some atheists is their prophet of sorts or maybe for some their god had written that there's no right, no wrong, nothing but pitiless indifference. That is equivalent to saying their are no absolutes and that sin is just a fairy tale word.
It's incredibly ironic how atheists can say, "Well there's really no right, no wrong, just pitiless indifference." to which Richard Dawkins the famous atheist writes. Yet they do bother to condemn some wrong. In fact, I remembered how some annoying book full of bad words demanded Christians to stop bearing false witness but the huge question to that writer is, does he realize atheism is a big fat lie just like the writer is literally a big fat liar? I have read of how many of these "fossil records" were based on foolish assumptions like the tooth of a pig was used to prove evolution or a skull that wasn't even that old. I really am so amazed at how many atheists even present just a single skull as evidence for evolution. That's really bearing false witness! Also, on what ground do they condemn Roman Catholic pedophile homo priests of raping altar bays if right and wrong (which they say doesn't exist but pitiless indifference) is dictated by the survival of the fittest? They can't. In fact, they are so foolish they can't tell the difference between Biblical Christianity from pseudo-Christianity!
It was in fact foolish how I read how an atheist called sin as just a fantasy word and that people were just doing what they needed to survive, which implies that he thinks stealing and murder are justifiable. Yet what I read in that rather foolish blog filled with bad words, his foul mouthed writing condemns Christianity as a murderous religion with the basis of the Bible's record of punishment of sinful civilizations. If he says that there is no right and no wrong, what is his ground them to condemn Christianity as murderous? What is his ground then to call preachers like Paul Washer, Ray Comfort and the late D. James Kennedy as clowns and idiots? In fact, Ray Comfort's stinging words are really proof that these atheists cannot handle the truth! Atheists just want to pick some and throw some like how some of them can oppose pedophilia yet support homosexuality and sponsor abortion but condemn genocide of people who are already born. Sin is sin and that's what they tend to forget!
4.) Atheists claim to be scientific, you need to reject God but ironically they adhere to a lot of scientific facts that are sponsored by non-atheists.
To the atheist, nobody is truly scientific if they reject the notion of God which is ironic considering many of them admit that they hate God and wish He wasn't real. They compare the all-powerful Jesus to the fictitious character of Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. History proves Jesus to be real but not the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus and science is based on facts alone. Romans 1:22 says that such people profess to be wise but instead, they became fools. Pastor Vernon McGee writes, "The wisdom of man is foolishness with God. Man searches for truth through logical reasoning but arrives at a philosophy that is foolish in God's sight."
In one way or another, one must realize that many scientists whether Christians or not weren't atheists. Though Louis Pasteur was a very devoted Roman Catholic yet he proved that no life can come from non-life and affirmed biogenesis over the atheistic theory of oogenesis. George Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla were Christians, they electrified the world! Thomas Alva Edison though he wasn't a Christian did not reject the idea of God. Albert Einstein a follower of Judaism confirmed the theoretical writings of Christian scientist Isaac Newton (who contributed advanced calculus for scientific work and discovered the different properties of gravity) in the theory of relativity. Francis Bacon the one who simplified the scientific method was a born again Christian. Blaise Pascal a famous mathematician also believed that in every man's heart was a God-shaped blank. Yet what is funny is that many atheists also study the theories of these persons and hypocritically believe you can't be a scientific person if you aren't an atheist!
The atheistic version of evolution even challenges plain scientific knowledge and they are also guilty of Ad Hominem of attacking the person instead of the argument. In biology, we should realize by then that it's been affirmed everything reproduces according to its own kind. Also, their claims humans lost their tails overtime is another argument as silly as to believe that when you cut a monkey's tail, its offspring will have no tail as well. To believe a cow can become a whale in no time for let's say millions of years defeats the scientific fact, cows cannot breathe underwater and two, even in a million years, that cow will remain dead! A lot of their theories stemming from their imaginations proves just how twisted their mind has become without God.
5.) They question the Scriptures yet they don't question atheist writers.
I do find it funny how many times I've read atheists challenge the Scriptures, write books they believe have refuted Christianity and that Darwin (who was no atheist) had killed God. It's silly how often they treat books like "The God Delusion" as Scripture or as if it's Scripture. During Mao Zedong's time, books written by the late atheist dictator were simply adhered to as Scripture. Maoists treat the writings of Mao Zedong with the respect Christians have for their Bible. Marxists also treat Karl Marx's writings as sacred. In North Korea, some of its people treat the writings of the Kim Jung Dynasty as Scripture. In fact, atheism is known to make many changes to override the last, rather than adding something up to verify the truth like the Bible. They say they can't trust the Bible because it's only written by man yet they treat such books by famous atheists as Scripture.
I have read how often they have challenged pastors like Ray Comfort and John F. Macarthur to useless debates and to prove the Bible is the Word of God yet may don't question the atheist writers which goes back to points two and three! Think about the fact that man has ended up making man their god. Think about it, atheists tend to treat people like Richard Dawkins or the late Christopher Hitchens their godas god. In fact, they challenge God's authority as often as they can but why do they revere men as god? It was like how Mao Zedong was treated as a god, Kim Jung Un right now is treated as god after inheriting his late father Kim Jung Il's throne.
6.) They are fulfilling prophecy of the Bible, the very book they hate!
Atheists like it or not are fulfilling prophecy! 2 Peter 3:4-5 has it clear that int he last days, peoplew ill socc at the Christians especially when it comes to the promise of Christ's coming. As you see, atheists are fulfilling Scripture as demonstrated above especially how they profess to be wise, they became fools. When they persecute Christians, they are fulfilling the very words that Christ had spoken proving the Bible to be very true. In fact, just think about it no matter how many times they try to disprove the Scripture but ex-atheists like Lee Strobel and Pastor Andrew Murray have become true Christians and they can't stop the Word of God from being preached!
