Many Roman Catholics Play the Victim Whenever They're Told the Truth

I remembered some Roman Catholics have that annoying habit of playing the victim whenever they are told the truth about their spiritual state.  You start telling them they are not Christians, they get furious and play the victim.  I remembered how parents called a pastor crazy because he told the unsaved students they were not saved.  It has become a common habit of many Roman Catholics to accuse born again Christians of "hating" them when the opposite is true.

The problem of the "love gospel" has it that there is nothing more than the message of "unity" and "love" without real repentance.  Love can mean for anyone who is unsaved to be tolerance of all false religions, tolerance of sinful behavior, tolerance of heresies, not rebuking anyone and not to offend anyone with the truth.  One good evidence of love getting redefined is how today, spanking a child has been confused with child abuse, discipline is confused with dictatorship and spoiling a child is considering loving a child even when the Bible is against such stupid ideas.  Because of a lack of Biblical values, the world has fallen apart.  It is getting more and more evident when almost everything the Bible is against has become legal and rightful in the eyes of man.  After all, do we not suffer the theme of Judges that says, "Every man did what was right in their own eyes." even until today?

If love means tolerance of error, let me try and ask this question.  If you see a person who is about to be hit by a truck or is suffering a dreadful disease, should you not warn the person that they are heading for death?  Unfortunately, people today want just a portion of the truth mixed with sweet lies.  Isaiah 30:10 has given that firm warning about people who want nothing but sugar-coated preaching all the time.  People want the pleasant part of the truth but not the bitter part of it.  But if you love people enough then would you not warn that they are lost sinners who are heading for Hell, show them the Law to prove they are sinners even if it means you will get them upset about the truth?  It is better to have the bitter truth now then people get healed than to give a comforting lie that will kill the person later.

All I can ask is, "When do you want your fire?  Now or later?"  It is either repent or perish, turn or burn and sad to say there many more people will end up in Hell than Heaven.
