Halloween Also Helps Foster Roman Catholic Nonsense Through Horror Films

So how do horror movies promote Roman Catholic nonsense? Are you quite familiar that many vampire films (though not all) tend to use the whole use of crucifix and holy water to fight vampires? I remembered reading some literature related to the occult. Some time ago, I even heard that you'd know the person is an occult beast is that they hate "holy" water and crucifixes aside from the usual cliche of salt, garlic and bright sunlight. When I used to watch horror movies before I got saved, I also remembered how I was influenced to believe no evil spirit could harm me if I have a crucifix or if I used some "holy water" then I could get rid of demons and my sins.

Make no mistake that one of Satan's most powerful weapons of deception is the use of horror movies. Satan may not be all-powerful but no one can underestimate his power to double-cross. One of his worst tactics is to fool people into believing they're actually glorifying God and fighting him when they aren't. I don't blame some Christians who have already thrown their TV sets outside because of all the demonic shows in the airwaves though such a measure may be too extreme. But again, it's better to do something too extreme than to let Satan take over your home, right? One of his favorite stuff to do is through the entertainment world. If works of fiction can help promote a certain degree of truth then it can also be helped to promote a certain degree of lies.

If people are led to believe that anybody who's scared of a crucifix or "holy" water is of Satan then it's going to demonize born again Christians. I've heard of how often the Inquisition used the crucifix during their trials or pictures of people being burned alive are made to face crucifixes. What Roman Catholics don't realize is that the crucifix itself is a cursed object. Exodus 20:4-5 is too clear that no graven image for worship was to be ever made yet they still misquote several passages from the Old Testament to justify such practice. The Ark of the Covenant was kept from public viewing so no images were used as visual aid for worship. Plus, Deuteronomy 21:22-23 also warns that cursed is any hanged body. Jesus was removed from the cross while the crucifix still attempts to crucify Him back to it.

Also, the issue about "holy" water is no different. It's plain superstition and stupidity. The water is in open air and no amount of "blessing" it will cleanse it of bacteria. In a short amount of time, germs would have grown and multiplied on the "holy" water. If it were truly holy then why would flies go around it or mosquitoes lay their eggs on it? Also, if something is truly holy like the Ark of the Covenant then it shouldn't even be touched by sinful hands in the first place. Plus in the Old Testament any water that was used for ceremonial use was for the Levites to use for the law of jealousies (Numbers 5:17-19). Plus, ceremonial washing was not just mere sprinkling but it was a real washing.
