Astronomy in the BIBLE!

Since it would be a VERY LONG entry to do if one is to put all the scientific facts altogether, well it would be best to do some dividing of the topic.  Well astronomy should be a good start.  This blog will continue to have science and the Bible to prove that God created science.

The second law of thermodynamics applied
  • Psalm 102:25-27- "Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.  They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but Thou art the same, and Thy years shall have no end."
 Number of stars exceed billion
  • Genesis 22:17- "That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is on the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;"
Every star is different
  • 1 Corinthians 15:41- "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory."
Pleiades and Orion as gravitationally bound star groups
  • Job 38:31- "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?"
Light is in motion
  • Job 38:19- "Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,"
The Earth is round
  • Isaiah 40:22- "It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"
Earth is suspended in space
  • Job 26:7- "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing."
Day and night at the same time
  • Luke 17:34-36- "I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
