Debunking the Sell Your Satan Doctrine
One of the greatest and craziest myths to ever explode is the "sell your soul to Satan" myth in which, in order to land in Hell, Satan must have a contract on your soul. But what says the Bible? Now it's time to really think about the facts about what man really is. In Romans 3:10-19 it really shows the fact that man in the first place belongs to the Devil and it agrees with John 8:44 that the natural man belongs to Satan in the first place.
Again, that means the person could not sell their soul to the Devil, he/she already belonged to him in the first place. And it is this kind of scam that has caused people to again to think that by their good works they can earn salvation or that there's no escape with any deal with the Devil. However Romans 10:9-13 says otherwise.
While a person has not yet died, he/she even if he/she made a deal with Satan while they were unsaved (and they didn't need to do it anyway), the person can still call upon the Name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and by believing in the Gospel- which is that He is the Son of God, that He died on the cross, was buried and was resurrected and that by His blood the price is paid, any tie with Satan is forever destroyed!
