Mormon Writings DO NOT Agree with Christianity!

While the Mormons say they believe the Bible is the Word of God, proof says otherwise. Their final authority is based on a worldly central government rooted in Salt Lake City, their "Mecca" just as Roman Catholics refer to the Vatican as their "holy city".

So far, we have the following writings exposed from their OWN books and literature:
  • Mormonism also teaches that there are many gods, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163).
  • There is a mother goddess, (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443).
  • After you become a good Mormon, you have the potential of becoming a god, (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pages 345-347, 354).
  • God used to be a man on another planet, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 321).
  • The Trinity is three separate gods, (James Talmage, Articles of Faith, p. 35).
  • God the Father has a body of flesh and bones, (Doctrine and Covenants, 130:22).
  • God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit children, (Mormon Doctrine p. 516).
All these are NOT Biblical. Here are our responses straight from the Bible:
  • There is only One God existing as three persons (1 John 5:7)
  • God will NOT share His glory with anyone (Isaiah 42:8)
  • God the Father was not once a man. Jesus is eternally God the Son becoming MAN but NOT man becoming God (John 1:1-12).
  • Where in the Bible directly or indirectly stated that God used to be a man, having a goddess wife and has spirit children? Oh yeah, Satan is NOT the half-brother of Jesus!
