What's Wrong with the Watchtower Society?

Another ongoing cult we would like to refute also is the Watchtower Society who call themselves as "Jehovah's Witnesses".  In contrary, they are nothing more than witnesses of deception and their so-called last messenger Charles Taze Russell was a big time heretic who taught several unscriptural doctrines.  Sad but true.

Note: This article is not here to incite hatred against the Watchtower Society but rather to expose to their members the deceitfulness that they are into.  We are simply here to reclaim the truth.

Here are some unscriptural beliefs of the Watchtower Society: (More added soon by God's grace)

1.) Denial of the Trinity- In their Bible, the verse 1 John 5:7 is being frequently removed as to deny the Trinity.  This denies that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all co-equally God.  To them, Jesus was not the Second Person in the Trinity and the Holy Spirit is not a Person.  However the Bible is clear that the Trinity is a real doctrine not a manmade invention.

2.) Attacking the very deity of Jesus Christ- The Watchtower members sure have weird ideas about Christ.  They teach that Jesus was only a created being, that He was created by the Father as the Archangel Michael and He was later born a man.  They teach that Jesus is not God when the Bible says He is God.  They deny the bodily resurrection as well.

3.) They deny that Hellfire will be forever and teach annihilation instead.  This is crazy.  Revelation 14:12 is clear that those who end up in the Lake of Fire will burn forever and forever.  The Bible is clear in Luke 16:19-31 through the story of the rich man and Lazarus that Hell is VERY REAL.

4.) They call the cross a pagan symbol and should not be used.  Okay let's be clear about this- Baptist history has the use of the cross on its church symbols but NOT a crucifix.  The Watchtower Society has gone too far as to even say that Jesus was crucified on a stake and not on a cross when Scriptures show that He was crucified on a cross.

5.) They teach salvation is faith plus works.  Again Romans 11:6 refutes this by saying that salvation is either by grace or by works.  Ephesians 2:8-10 shows that salvation is by faith and then it results to good works.  If a person needed to do good works to be saved or to stay saved, it's still works salvation.

Just some problems with these groups as observed:

1.) Like the Pentecostals and the SDAs, many of the members tend to focus too much on the Vatican than the Bible.  They are anti-Catholic but they are still a cult, just as lost as the Roman Catholic Church.  They can pose this problem to the extent to where if any true Christian refuses to cooperate with them, they throw in whatever accusations they feel like doing so.

2.) Many of its other crazy doctrines are a result of their own imagination.

3.) Many of them DO NOT submit to earthly authority as Romans 13 commands.  There's a difference between saluting a flag and worshiping it.

4.) Blood transfusion being banned has resulted to the Christless deaths of many members of their society.

5.) They are also making a LOT of quack predictions like determining the end of the world when Acts 1:7 says that it is not for anyone to know the times or the dates.
