Some Tactics That Religiously Lost Debaters Use to Intimidate People to a Debate

It cannot be denied that persecution is a reality in Christian life whether direct or subtle.  Some persecute Christianity by the obvious ways like the Inquisition and the Crusades.  Others persecute Christianity by presenting another Jesus who is an unrestrained individual, telling people they're terrorists whenever they preach the reality of salvation is only through Jesus Christ and not through works or religion.

Here are some commonly found characteristics in these disinformation agents:
  • Having an arrogant attitude.  Sometimes their photos from their social network accounts do show just how haughty they are.  They can be displayed by smile that's not friendly but rather intimidating and irritating.  Their way of speaking is very master and commander, high and mighty type of attitude.
  • Pretends to be or even thinks of one's self as smarter than everybody else even if they turn out to be real fools.
  • Foul-mouthed.  Many of them speak a lot of bad words.
  • Intellectual dishonesty.  Worse they accuse the true Christians of doing so.
  • Pharisaical kindness- They do good works not because they love the Lord, they only do good works to get the praises of men.
  • Living a filthy lifestyle While trying to establish their own righteousness, they are ignorant of God's righteousness (Romans 10:3) so it's only normal they keep on sinning after they have received the knowledge of the truth (Hebrews 10:26-29).
  • They quote the Bible but only in part- Harry A. Ironside had stated that the Bible must be analyzed in whole and not just get a few verses, mix them together and boom.  John Macarthur in his short lesson "Bad Hermeneutics" also warned about taking the Scriptures out of context.  Many quote the Bible to defend manmade traditions and to discredit it.
  • False accusers- No doubt about that.  While they preach an impossible salvation or in other words works salvation, they're liars because salvation is NOT impossible because God made it possible.  Works salvation is the greatest disinformation ever created by Satan.

Here are a few tactics that have been used to intimidate people to a debate and draw them to the open so they can DEVOUR THEM:
  • It's all about name calling- Debaters of false religion are bound to call those who refuse them to a debate as "coward", "moron", "stupid", "chicken", "trash", "fag" and to the point it's already laced with bad words like "fucking shit", "dickhead", "piece of shit", "dickhead" and "asshole" (again we apologize for having to spell out those words).  They have used this either in direct or indirect conversations.  One can notice that MANY of their blogs (not all) are filled with BAD WORDS.  To be honest, that's one good reason NOT to update on those fellows- it's a waste of time.
  • Accusation of intellectual dishonesty- This is a tactic that's commonly used to those who refuse to a debate of being intellectually dishonest.
  • Affiliating the unwilling opponent to the opposition party- This is very common tactic.  It's all about this- they threaten the person that they'll FALSELY accuse the person of working for the opposition if the person doesn't want to join in a debate.  This is also using the fallacy of false dilemma.
  • The worse comes to worst is physical assault- If they can't get to do the tactics above, they can really use force and intimidation physically.  Some tactics involve direct physical assault by the challenger or worse, calling goons to do the job.  It's no surprise if one reads the lives of dirty men like Constantine, Joseph Smith, Felix Manalo and Muhammad- they used goons to spread their religion!

As said, Christians are to be reminded that they're called out to be radically different from the world (John 15:18-19).  No Christian is ever a friend of a world or else, they're not Christians (James 4:4).  It's best to ignore them and use whatever legal defense issues may exist.  However the best solution is to take it up to God first so they don't make any stupid decisions on dealing with the matter.
