Who Were the Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4?

This is a controversial issue among Bible scholars even among the truly born again Christians to who the sons of God were in Genesis 6:1-4. One has to closely examine the grammatical and textual usage before jumping into any conclusions:

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

One has to notice the context. Kindly notice that the text DOES NOT SAY that the giants were the children of the sons of God and daughters of men. Yes giants do exist, it's a genetic thing but not as huge as the pseudo-Scriptures (like the "Book of Enoch") say. Goliath was only 7-8 feet which such people still exist until today. Yao Ming is at least 8 feet and he would be considered a giant yet he is NOT an offspring between an angel and a human woman!

So now one has to consider the phrase "sons of God". Not everybody is a child of God and since man fell, he had become a child of the Devil in the spiritual sense, not in the biological sense. There were two lines of humanity born then- Sethite and Cainite. Seth was a believer, Cain was not. If the giants were ever born from the union, it's possible Cain had a giant gene but then again, Seth's descendants (that includes everybody today) have giants too like some athletes today. Again, it just cannot justify the angel-human union as one is physical, the other is spiritual. Humans can only reproduce with humans unlike in pagan mythology where animals and humans mate with each other and make offspring. Having sex with something does not automatically produce offspring. Also the term "daughters of men" can only mean unbelievers, the natural man. The Sethite men were intermarrying with the Cainite women who were worshipers of the Devil. This was actually nothing more than an intermarriage between the two lines of humanity.

Also it's best to point this truth out - Cain is NOT born of the serpent and Eve. He is a natural born human who carried Adam's sinful nature as a result of Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden. Unfortunately some people have continued to believe the nonsense which soon gave birth to the "reptiles among us" theory that mankind today is infiltrated by reptilian humanoids which again is another nonsense fable.
