Why Islam and Christianity Cannot Walk Together

Today one of the greatest lies that surface in the media is that Christianity and Islam can get along.  However the truth is this- they cannot.  Why is that?  Well some will say to me that I'm a bigot and a terrorist.  However here are really many irreconcilable differences between Islam and Christianity.  Here are just some why both religions are contrasting against each other: 

On the Deity of Jesus Christ

  • Muslims are guilty of blaspheming Jesus when they deny His Deity and the fact that Jesus was both God and man in His earthly ministry.  Muhammad taught that Jesus was just a prophet and a slave to their moon god Allah.  Muslims view the truth of the Trinity as a blasphemy and that Allah the pagan moon god begat not a son, that would be no problem because Allah is NOT God.  However Christianity teaches in John 3:16 that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God and He is God in John 1:1 saying, "...and the Word was with God and the Word was God." and in verse 10 saying, "...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."  Jesus was God becoming man, in Islam Jesus is only a man.  Both truths cannot coexist.

On salvation and good works

  • According to Islam, man is left alone and there is no concept of a Savior to save man from his sins.  That is not so with Christianity which teaches that while man was a sinner, Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6) and teaches a different concept of good works.  In Islam, salvation depends on man's effort to do good works all he could to please Allah.  On the Christian concept, it's by the grace of God alone where salvation is not by works yet it results to good works- Ephesians 2:8-10 says man is saved by grace so nobody can boast yet they are prepared unto good works and Titus 2:11-15 teaches that God's grace changes the believer.  Christians rely on the righteousness of God, Muslims try to establish their own righteousness (Romans 10:3).

Dealing with one's enemies

  • Islam is nothing more than a religion of hate as the Koran declares, "Seek out your enemies relentlessly."  Like the perverted Judaism of Jesus' day, they have perverted the principle of "Eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth" not as a means to execute justice on offenses but as a means to gain personal revenge.  Jesus taught the opposite- He taught Christians to love their enemies and pray for them who persecute them.  A Christian is encouraged to help a helpless Muslim but a Muslim is taught to beat up a Christian and kill them.  

On the treatment of wives

  • The Koran teaches it is okay for men to beat up women.  For them Muslim women they are but puppets.  In Christianity, as much as women are to submit to their husbands, the Bible commands them to love their wives (Ephesians 5:25) and Christianity restores the monogamy that was intended in the garden of Eden.  Islam treats women nothing more than trophies to collect and select.
