Debunking the Jehovah's Witness By Exposing Errors From "The Watchtower" Magazine

It does get pretty annoying how I can run into members of The Watchtower who claim themselves to be witnesses of Jehovah hence their used name as "Jehovah's Witnesses" but one thing is certain, like the Iglesia ni Cristo movement by Felix Manalo, it does not deserve its name.  When I was newly saved, I thought they were a Christian group but don't be fooled, these guys aren't Christians.  The might be an anti-Catholic group but they are an anti-Catholic cult.  Anti-Catholic cults are no better than Roman Catholicism in itself.  From this Chick tract, "War Games" one can get prepared to actually know something is wrong with the Watchtower Society and why they are not witnesses for Jehovah.  Now let us see some of their biggest errors exposed:

1.) The Watchtower Society teaches its witnesses that Jesus was crucified on a stake not on a cross.  However even history can prove crucifixion happens on a cross, not a stake.  Matthew 27:37 and John 20:25 are far more accurate with history when it comes to crucifixion.  One, Jesus had to be crucified on a cross for the sign to be over His head, not His hands.  Two, you have to consider that nails were pierced through each wrists so two nails and not just one.

2.) They teach Jesus is not Jehovah but a created being.  Their religion has been against the idea of the Trinity which leads them to believe in another Jesus.  Even their own Bible actually says Jesus is Jehovah and not just a man who lived a sinless life.  Isaiah 45:22 and Philippians 2:10-11 declare this truth- one all bow down before God and two, all bow down before Jesus Christ Himself.  You must consider this also that in John 20:28 (which the INC say it was only an expression of Thomas of disbelief) that Thomas called Jesus "My Lord and My God".  If Jesus were not God, He would have rebuked Thomas but instead He received the worship due to Him.

I really continue to pray for more outreach to Jehovah's Witnesses out there.
